Commute Messenger Bag

Very well designed. This bag immediately replaced my collection of canvas day/travel bags. Large enough for one overnight, small enough for taking whenever I am out for the day.

I have had computer bags and backpacks over the years but this messenger bag is perfect. Looks professional and has enough pockets or features to store your gear. Its lightweight as well.

A little heavier than I expected but definitely sturdy construction. I expect many years of use from this bag, assuming laptop/pad pcs remain a travel item in the future.

This is my third messenger bag in the past 5 years, and probably the best. It replaces an old design from REI that is no longer being sold. The Timbuk2 bag somehow manages to hold as much stuff as the REI bag did while taking up considerably less space. There are plenty of interior pockets to help with organization. Im not sure how water resistant it is since I havent had it outside in the rain or drizzle. The REI bag was excellent in that regard; it had an interior zipper that allowed you to completely seal off the contents of the bag from the elements. The Timbuk2 bag lacks such an interior zipper, but the outer flap may provide similar protection. I do wish that the side pockets on the outside of the bag were a little deeper, to ensure that water bottles and travel mugs stayed in place.

Better than I expected---excellent laptop bag, excellent for a weekend away. Have no issues about it at all.

Lot of space. Laptop, tablet, phones, chargers - all of them fit in it. Very comfortable and adjustable straps. Also TSA compliant

Great bag

This is my third Timbuk2 messenger bag and its the best one yet. The new area for my Mac and iPad is much more easily accessible and it goes through airport security without unloading. The main compartment has great pockets and dividers, keeping my bag well organized. I keep my sunglasses in the new outside pocket. I think the handle is essential. Unlike my other Timbuk2s, this bag stands up without flopping over on its side. As always, the bag is tough and flexible; a perfect replacement for my black leather briefcase. The all-black looks makes it appropriate for more conservative business settings.
