Dislike first use the piglet bit bent. Hole saw 3 in dulled after cutting 11 holes in 3/4 red cedar. I would not buy again cheep Chinese quality.

These holesaw‘s work like they should the only issue is they aren’t deep enough for the project that we were doing. We were drilling through a 2 x 4 and they were not thick enough to go all the way through the 2 x 4.

I used this to saw a hole in particle board for a piece of furniture where I needed to run wires through it and it did the job perfectly. Comes with a variety of sizes and easy to understand instructions. Youll need a power drill to use it, but if youve got one this comes with everything you need (bits and all) to secure it in place and cut a clean-looking hole. Definitely recommend for anyone whos handy or just needs to cut a hold in a particular piece of furniture (get this! dont just take scissors to the back of your TV stand, trust me!)

Lots of reviews about broken drill bits - This product allows you to swap bits to one of better quality. I had no problem with the bit at all, nor did I have any issues with the hole saw itself. I was cutting into drywall, so I really didnt expect any. Bottom line - This is really the equivalent to HF stuff: You get what you pay for. I needed it for one small job, and it worked just fine. If you dont set your expectations too high, you wont be disappointed.

Its no Milwaukee or Dewalt but it will work for light, occasional use.

The only negative was that the two alignment pins were angled outward instead of being vertical to the plate. I had to bend them to align with the mating saw blade. That weakened the rivet connection to the baseplate.

This isnt great. It got the job done but with a lot more effort that it should have. The teeth arent very sharp and several pieces dont fit properly together

Not a good buy for any practical utility. May be ok for thin plastic. The drill bit had trouble getting through a 1.5 inch pine board. I used a 7/32 drill bit to pre drill. The 1+1/2 inch hole blade wasnt very sharp. The saw dust wasnt being ejected out, despite pulling it out every 1/8 inch or so. I ran my drill at half speed and paused every 30 seconds (hoping not to build up too much heat). I thought maybe I wasnt spinning fast enough to get the sawdust out of the teeth so I speed it up. The wood started smoking (of course) so I stopped. When I ran the drill in reverse (slowly) to pull out the hole saw, the drill bit broke (see pictures). Also, the depth of the saw is a hair shy of an inch (so getting through a 2x4 takes two passes). Just thought Id iterate that here because it didnt help my frustration (I fully take responsibility) . Reading it and experiencing it are two different things.

I purchased to cut a 5 in hole in a soffit. 3/4” thick. If u start too slow all the teeth will catch. Maybe enough to break the tool? I don’t know but i started to slow and the teeth caught and instantly stopped the drill. So i started with a faster rpm and was able to cut all the way without catching or stopping. Worked for what i needed it for.
