Update as of 6/20/2017: This ram (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) simply will not work at its rated speeds on the ASUS Prime B350-Plus motherboard, even with the AGESA 1.0.0.6 updated BIOS installed. Ive been building and tweaking gaming systems for 20 years so believe me when I tell you that its not operator error. The fastest speeds I can achieve are 2666 MHz at 16-18-18-18-38 1T 1.35v. This RAM uses SK Hynix chips instead of Samsung B. For some reason Samsung B-die chips work like a charm on Ryzen boards but Hynix has compatibility issues all over the place, but some Hynix ram works...so it appears to be completely random. This kit is on my MBs QVL so I contacted their customer support to find out what I might be missing. They gave me a list of recommended settings to try to get it working correctly. I tried all of them with literally no change. I contacted Corsair about the issue and they said contact ASUS customer support and get recommendations from them, which I had already done. Neither ASUS nor Corsair can explain why they dont work at their rated speeds. Ive spent all of my free time for the better part of 2 weeks surfing forums, Reddit threads, and discussion boards trying different recommendations given by other users of this RAM or this board, and Ive had nobody help me get the ram working faster than I way able to get it to work myself. So I think its safe to say, if it works for you at rated speeds on a Ryzen board, youre one of the lucky ones.
