I replaced the stock extruder because it was clicking. I can’t believe how good my prints are and how smooth everything is now. I also changed the bed springs and magnetic bed at the same time so keep that in mind.

Went together easy but was missing a small washer. Iwould have given all stars if it weren’t for that. Lever has a solid feel. It has the Creality tag in the bag.

Upgrading to a metal extruder is a must on these printers. Mine had a slight burr on the feed hole right before PTFE tube which caused the filament to get shredded as the extruder would retract and feed during printing. Didn’t affect print quality but it made a mess. If you see plastic shavings all over your printer after installing this make sure the filament path is perfectly smooth. A little sand paper fixed the problem for me.

This is a good little metal replacement for the plastic one that comes with the printer. Its states that it is for an ender 3D. I put mine on a voxelab Aquila. It fit just fine. There are absolutely no directions on how to put it on so take a picture of the original one first.

Extruder base does not have a threaded output for the fitting to the Bowden tube, I think I was supposed to put a supplied plastic plug into the non threaded hole and thread the fitting into it, that did not work for me. Put all the original parts back on and ordered the correct extruder. The printer is an Ender 3 V2 and it is in the list of compatible printers for this part.

HUGE improvement to my 3d prints. Why every 3d printer doesnt come with one of these is beyond me. If you have a plastic extruder, get this. Well worth the price and effort to change. Made a drastic difference in my prints. Highly recommend!

The description of this extruder makes a big deal out of how the design is better than the standard extruders that uses pneumatic fittings ... its supposed to be less likely to snag the filament when youre loading it. Sounded good to me. When I received it though, it was just a standard official Creality aluminum extruder, pneumatic fitting and all -- which is perfectly fine. I guess they were out of their special design and backfilled with the Creality labeled item. I doubt their design is that much better anyway, so I wasnt upset to get the Creality extruder but knocked a star off for inaccuracy.

The best thing to happen to 3d printer since the printer, extruding is everything physically, but the plastic factory crap is worthless, if amateur or professional you need this 99% METAL ! BUT nozzle replacement gadget(weird)-its great, all my previous issues was the extruder cold end tool. Add this for a mere 14 bucks no more issues

They provide a plastic adapter which has the incorrect threading to connect the Bowden extruder tube to the tensioner, making the whole product useless. It was really annoying to set up the entire extruder and then the last step was unable to be completed.

Better than the plastic ones that come on it. Put them on all three of my printers now.
