Cruella [Blu-ray]

Disney did an amazing job with the production and cast of this movie! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!

She has got to be our Generations top Actor.

my b/f was sure this was NOT a movie hed want to see. preconceived notions, ya know? and then, wow, the movie hit him all across the board. excellent sound track, excellent acting, excellent storyline, excellent sets and scenes. cannot think of one thing that was not superb. as the movie continued to astound us, we slowly began to realize that oh yeah, that character WAS IN the original animated movie. oh yeah, there was a van like this in it, too! i feel like this movie checked off all the boxes that elevate a film to art. this was it and for a person who never watches the same film twice, im watching this one again and again. its a pleasure.

This was a completely unnecessary character backstory that made no sense whatsoever. I’m not sure who this movie was made for. It’s completely unsuitable for children as it contains some dark scenes (amongst other things, her mother is murdered, and at one point they try to set Cruella on fire - very disturbing, dark) Too many evil references. What the heck, Disney?? I can’t imagine any self respecting adult setting out to watch this movie on their own. It’s was almost like a very poorly made version of The Devil Wears Prada. Emma Stone was completely miscast in my opinion - she is too young, too innocent, and not even close to being “evil” enough to take in the persona of Cruella. And while the music throughout the movie was decent (remakes of 70s classics) it didn’t necessarily fit with the scenery, which at times (aside from some funky 70s clothes) seemed to be set in modern day times. (Spoiler alert ahead) Emma Thompson was her usual brilliant self, but was wasted in this horrible demented movie full of revenge and murder. The ending made zero sense whatsoever, as Cruella ends up adopting the very ‘spotty’ dog breed she is supposed to hate in the future. Overall this movie is billed and marketed towards children, but please do not let them watch it. Waste of time and money.

The previews make this film seem dark and adult. However, I watched it by myself and found it to be very child friendly. There are light jokes and silliness involved. I watched this with my 7 and 5yr girls, and they loved it!

I dont know how someone reads this script and says yes. Must have been a lot of money. No character has a quality that anyone can relate to. I couldnt cheer for anyone or feel good about any result. Cruella is cruel and mean to everyone (except the dogs) and were supposed to like her because she gets a more cruel person in prison. This will definitely not make anyone feel better about others, themselves or the world. Its a downer and a waste of time. You will be better by skipping this one.

I loved this movie!! It was so much better than what I expected! It has drama, adventure, and comedy. It’s perfect for all ages to watch! 10/10

I usually look at all remake Disney the other way around, but this one was just a lot better than the animation killing puppies .

I never would have picked this movie to watch, but my friend suggested it. I was reluctant and ordered it anyway. I have to say that it was very enjoyable! Emma Stone never disappoints. I would recommend it.
