Great Product

This is a great option if you live in or work in an area that wont allow routers (They assign conflicting ip addresses) such as a dorm room or your own office. This will allow you to use multiple wired devices under another router without conflicting with their setup.

We put this switch in service as soon as we got it. It looks and feels like a nice quality product and seems to be doing the job.

Couldnt have been easier to install and has been reliable so far. Small profile as well which is great. This came highly recommended from a number of friends.

D-Link is one of my favorite brands for electronics. Its made in Taiwan so I trust it. I dont have to worry about a backdoor hidden in the componentry. The price is very affordable comapred to the big brands like Netgear and Linksys. But D-Link has been around for a long time too.

The price on this switch was great and its working as expected. The 5 port is a little misleading though because 1 port is for the in coming wire so you only have 4 outgoing ports.
