> 3 dayBefore getting these I had used these before. They work very well and I would highly recommend especially for basements. Its very easy to setup and depose of. The ones we had before lasted the summer. Just make sure you put them in a spot were young kids or pets can get to.

Greater than one weekWe use these in our under-stair crawlspace where we keep holiday decorations, and we keep two in our RV. They last a while and you can tell they work because after a couple of weeks or a month theres moisture accumulated at the bottom. What I like best about these is that they are refillable, you can purchase the crystals separately once you have the plastic unit so its not wasteful single-use plastic. These dont give off a scent, and they dont take up much space. We like them because theyre reliable and if they spill the water turn into a clear gel that is easy to clean up. I like using these to prevent mold and mildew in areas we dont access very often. They help reduce odors and mold, a big essential thing in RV and basement storage!

> 3 dayWould love to know who figured this out. What a great invention. Weve been using it quite a lot. We are in the middle of a basement remodel which our dehumidifier is having a hard time keeping up. I found putting one of these in the laundry room kept that dusky smell at bay. Also used it in our RV -- a rainy fall weekend that normally would mean condensation dripping off our windows was nice and dry, easing our breathing and protecting our RV. Using it is simple. There is a smaller vented bucket that sits in the main solid bucket and you pour the powder (sort of like a detergent) in then put on the lid which has holes. You can see it working the same day you set it up . . . at least we did. There is no way to recharge it (like some beads you can put in an oven to dry out) so once used you need to pitch the powder and refill it. It is poisonous so you want to make sure you place it in a safe spot where children or animals wont get tempted. Although I cant imagine wanting to eat it I guess you never know. I received the fresh scent. I am not normally sensitive to smells and to be honest, once set up this doesnt really smell much, but I do wish I had gotten unscented and that is what I will get in the future. This is a chemically deoderant/soap type smell that just doesnt agree with me. Great and effective product, does what it is supposed to for a fair price!

> 3 dayI kept seeing reviews saying they were delivered an expired product... MFD stands for the Manufacture date, not an expiration date. These containers are good for years. I live in Florida where we have over 75% humidity regularly, so these things have been a life saver!

Greater than one weekI am not really sure what it has done, while it did crystallize and collect some water, the moisture levels have not decreased.

> 3 dayI got the fresh scent which is horrible. My whole house now smells like a litterbox. It still works great at removing moisture, so I will order again but next time I will wait for the unscented.
