Used this when closing up our winter home. Have used it for years and return to find no problems with mold or mildew.

These seem to be fairly effective.

We live in a place where ambient humidity is usually about 90% or more. Most of the time, we have ACs running which funnel a lot of that out of the air inside, but there are places - sheds, storage rooms, cars- where thats just not possible. And after a hurricane or tropical storm where we have extended power outages and everyone has their windows open? Its just gross. Everything starts to feel slimy and smell a bit funny. This stuff is like a container of baking soda, only instead of putting it in your fridge, you put it in a room, a closet, a car. It really does help. We have a storage room,which sadly is not climate controlled. We keep our camping gear, pool toys, and outdoor holiday inflatables out there, and dampness can be an issue. I also have an SUV which somehow funnels rainwater directly into the back when its raining and Im trying to load/unload. A day or so after that? My car starts to smell like a landfill. Not anymore. Ive put these little containers in both. This really is a great little product!

Love this product! Can use virtually anywhere in the home, boat, RV and works amazingly! I even put one in my spice cabinet and linen closet. It prevents the spices from clumping up in the linens from getting musty

Soaking up moisture in a closet after water heater busted .

I am not really sure what it has done, while it did crystallize and collect some water, the moisture levels have not decreased.

We live in a high humidity environment. These are great for small places like closet shelves, linen closets, even chest of drawers. We’ve been using them for years. They are refillable and I think we have about 15 in use at this time. My only issue is they make a mess if knocked over. Be careful when opening them up!

This is a great product! DampRid is a staple in our home during the summer months. This is 4 refillable tub. The stuff inside the buckets attracts moisture and traps it leaving your air fresh and clean.The fragrance of this product is Lavender Vanilla and it smells wonderful. DampRid leaves my house feeling clean.

In just a few days it was full of water so it definitely works!
