I love painting with Daniel smith watercolors. The pigment is deep and rich. Great paints for the price.

I have recently started learning watercolor and sought a quality paint. My instructor recommended Daniel Smith so I acquired a starter set from Amazon (Alvaro Castagnet collection). After trying this set, I had to have this secondary set of 3 for the rich tones of green, purple and gold. The colors are so versatile and the pigments perform well on the paper. Furthermore, they mix well with other colors to create new combinations and even mix well with other brands. Try these if you are looking for a quality paint that out performs others!

Instead of receiving three 15mL tubes in three different shades, I got three small (as in 5 mL) tubes of Quinacridone Gold... Its a lovely shade, dont get me wrong, but none of these tiny tubes of pain are green, purple, or orange. :| Id like a refund... Or the proper paints sent to me, because these are not worth the 20 something dollars I paid at all.

These are beautiful colors. Lots of things happening in the color washes!

The package came intact, with all three tubes sealed in the packaging, and no leakage. Beautiful colors! These are my first Daniel Smith watercolors (I have M. Graham watercolors), and Im in love with their pigmentation. They are vibrant colors that live up to their attributes. They mix well with my M. Graham paints, work well from the tube, and work well dried in pans and reconstituted.

Rich colour.

Daniel Smith is excellent paint. I absolutely love it and these Primary and Secondary sets are a great value. The Petulance Red in the Primary set is stunning. I ordered one Primary Extra Fine set and one Secondary Extra Fine Set. I received two Primary Sets. Exchanging for the correct item is cumbersome so I‘ll keep two primary. Thankfully it wasn’t two Secondary sets. Just want to give folks a heads up, maybe buy one set at a time just in case they ship the wrong set the first time.

I like those products. They were packaged well and I got them very quickly. Love the colors!
