D&D PowerDrive 954-05001 Troy BILT Kevlar Replacement Aramid Belt 1/2 x 43

I was searching for the 954-05001, several of the parts that showed up were not actually for my 30inch Craftsman mower. This one fit perfect. Make sure you read closely when looking for this part. 3 of the MTD 30 deck belts did not fit my mower. The 30 deck must have more than 1 version.

The OEM mower deck belt is slightly longer than this belt, close to 1/2. The belt that was shipped is 43 as advertised. Being too short allows the blade to run even when its suppose to be disengaged. Do not buy this belt.

I purchased this belt after my original belt broke after 2 years of use. The original belt was around $40.00 and this one was $11.00. I decided to take a chance and purchased this belt. It has worked great so far. I would buy it again for sure. It is a well made belt and fit perfectly.

Worked great and then it didnt started slipping and the blades wouldnt work.

Looked on Youtube about replacing the the bely on my deck - had me ready to spend a couple of hours and skinned knuckles - start the project and was finished within 10 minutes maximum and didnt even get my hands dirty.

Poorly manufactured. Installed exactly as instructed and the belt shredded in less than 5 minutes of use. That’s what I get for cheaping out on Amazon... I will be replacing with an OEM part.

Whats to be said. I works fine and the price was much lower that others.
