D&D PowerDrive 954-05001 Troy BILT Kevlar Replacement Aramid Belt 1/2 x 43

The belt fits perfect. The belt immediately started shredding. It does fit the troy bilt TB 30 R but doesnt work as it shreds as soon as you lower the deck. I should have gone with the previous reviews for this belt. It does have some good reviews for other models but I dont recommend for this model.

Belt arrived looking good and of quality construction. It took a few minutes to drop the cutting deck and remove the old belt. The old belt was still functional but started slipping under load telling me its about worn out. I PROPERLY installed the new belt and lubed up the pivots and such while I had easy access to the areas. I fired up the mower and tried it out. Success. The belt performs well and doesnt slip. I do notice a periodic vibration when operating the cutting deck but Im guessing the new belt just needs to break in a bit and will operate more smoothly. I have only used it for a few hours (2-3 mowings) so I cant comment on the longevity of the belt.

Based on the reviews Im guessing this fits the TV30R well but not the TB30 it shredded almost immediately. Looks like theres a bolt and small lever buy the middle wheel that it catches on and is just a little too thick.

I was a little apprehensive about buying this on line. Im glad l did. Dealers I. The area were going to have to order it with lead times of approx. 2 weeks. (Bad news since its leaf gathering time here.) I got it almost immediately and worked perfectly with my mower. Glad l did it.

The OEM mower deck belt is slightly longer than this belt, close to 1/2. The belt that was shipped is 43 as advertised. Being too short allows the blade to run even when its suppose to be disengaged. Do not buy this belt.

Broke after one summer, proximately three months, while the original manufacturer belt lasted five years.
