D&D PowerDrive ORB-H-1118 Craftsman Poulan Noma 429636, 197253 Kevlar Replacement Belt, 1/2 x 101, 4LK Section, Rubber

I just replaced the original belt on my 2013 Craftsman mower with this one. The original was probably due last season, but when it started slipping off a few days ago, I ordered this one. Im not expecting to get more than 2 seasons out of this for the price, but for a savings over the OEM version of $75, Ill be happy with 2 seasons of use.

I’m wouldn’t call this belt a total failure, but this belt shredded about a year after I installed it. The OEM belt lasted longer and didn’t shred.

Easy to receive from home

This belt is a perfect replacement belt for my Craftsman YT3000. It may even be a better belt than the original. Only time will tell how durable this belt is but, for now, I am pleased with the quality and performance of this belt.

Belt started burning and smoking just after install. Within three minutes of use the belt, shredded and failed.

Belt was easy to install, fortunately because I have to do it again with another belt! On the 3rd usage the belt came apart. Looks like the fabric cover started to strip away and get caught in the spindles. This caused the belt to snap. So it lasted maybe 3 hours in total. See photo.

It is holding up well

I bought a few replacements belts in the past and they never lasted more than a few times mowing. I was all but ready to buy a craftsman original until I read the post that a fellow used it on a craftsman DYS 4500 and had great luck. I have the same mower DYS 4500 so I thought I give it a try. The belt is slightly longer than the original, but it’s slightly thicker so it takes up the slack. I mowed about 15 times just under a acre of lawn. Shows no signs of wear. Just ordered a spare one. I was going to order two but thought this one is working so well why do I need two spares. Special thanks to the poster with the DYS 4500.

The item was easy to install and it was the right size. This is a great company to do business with.
