This is a tough tarp. Which is good. Iv gone through to many cheap and worthless tarps. Cause either it was ripped apart tension, or some storm with a damn monsoon behind it didn’t keep my warm. But this tarp is worth every penny. You get your money’s worth. I hammock camp and bivouac out in deep backcountry and after so many failed tarps this has came on top and destroyed the rest. That being said weight isn’t on its side but what it does out weighs it.

This tarp the the Bomb!! Kept us dry at the same time, gave us plenty of room to sit and listen to the rain. Definitely have a forever customer!!

I like everything about this tarp. It could use a few guy out tabs built into the fabric, but it is a great addition to my safety equipment. I highly recommend this AQUA QUEST DEFENDER tarp set ...

Man this thing is heavy duty, doesnt break the bank, and worked well for a couple weeks in the field. IMO, this tarp is perfectly suited to trust and use in the field - it is a little heavier than some may want to backpack with, but if your bushcrafting or car camping its a go to.

True ... its a bit heavier than a light-weight BASHA. Thats not a bad thing. This is double layered, larger and made with some seriously weapons grade durability ! Easily, one of be best pieces of equipment I own. Again, its a bit heavy (by a few ounces) so if youre a hiker and carrying it for miles, opt for a British SAS BASHA instead. If, however, youre a BushCrafter, Rough Camper or dealing with Rain, Snow (as we do in Minnesota), this is wonderful. Its sewn together very well, seam-sealed and theres a better chance of your para-cord breaking that the tie-ons, fabric and stitching on this tarp. Its a bit expensive too ... but you get way more bang-for-the-buck with this than you will with cheaper alternatives. That extra $15-20 is darn worth it. _______ I dont offer my thoughts on purchases very often or at all. I will simply be honest and let you know that this was not a disappointment. Its held-up through some fairly serious BushCrafting, Canoe Trips (Summer/Winter) and its still rock-solid. Well worth a look-see. My name is Alan and I approve this message. @Potential Buyers: There are no inside loops along the ridge-line like there are on a British BASHA. You can obviously add your own ... but the ridge-line provided by the maker is sturdy, seam-sealed ... so that might be tough one to do on your own (Seam-seal accordingly). @The Manufacturers: Well done. Maybe add some factory-provided loops on the inside along the ridge-line? Yes ... I would purchase this again ... but the darn things built to last a life-time so why ?
