> 24 hourJust as good as new. Needed an additional monitor for work and this is perfect. Much less strain on my eyes.

> 24 hourIm not gaming, so I cant comment on refresh time (keeps up with Microsoft Office just fine!), but I got what I expected and hoped for: Nice Dell packaging and setup instructions and a monitor that simply worked just fine. My application was to have a larger screen for a family member who requires magnification because of vision limitations. This monitor will be helpful, and I felt the price was good. Its also nice that the monitor can rotate into portrait orientation.

> 24 hourI bought the P2414H to use it as an office monitor. The monitor has an elegant design, its easy on the eyes (after I calibrated it to my taste), text is clear and easy to read, power consumption is low, the menu is well thought out, etc.. Overall, this is an excellent monitor for the money. My only gripe is with color rendition of IPS technology in general. This is my second IPS monitor for past three years (after the HP ZR24W, which was considered a good monitor back in 2011). Despite spending hours calibrating colors and brightness, both IPS monitors have worse color reproduction than the 24 Dell UltraSharp monitor that Ive had at home since ... 2007 (and that monitor is/was supposedly in the same class as these newer monitors). Still, considering the available choices, the P2414H is excellent.

> 24 hourPerfect monitor for home office use. Best thing, fully adjustable. I use dual monitors for my home office and bought a second one, I was so pleased with the first. I don’t game, so I can’t really speak to that. The picture quality is perfect for my work.

> 24 hourI purchased the Dell P2214H IPS 22 LED monitor 6 months ago (used). It arrived in perfect condition. The display is crisp and clear. I use this system (Windows 7 Pro x64) for code editing and so I greatly appreciate the ability to swivel it 90 degrees, allowing many lines of code to be viewed/edited. I am not a gamer or a graphic artists so I cannot speak to its responsiveness or color reproduction. If I must purchase another monitor I will look for another just like it.

> 24 hourI needed a monitor to use vertically for viewing spreadsheets. If you have looked for a monitor to use vertically you know how hard it can be to find one that is wide enough (when vertical) to see see a whole spreadsheet or Word document. Most monitors today are excellent as widescreen when horizontal but are too narrow to use otherwise. This Dell monitor is excellent. When horizontal it has a viewing area that is 10 1/2 high. The stand allows you to move the monitor up and down, tilt in and out, and rotate the screen vertical. Excellent monitor, excellent price. UPDATE!! I just purchased a second one of these monitors because the first one worked out so well. I also realized that I forgot to give the viewable screen dimensions. The viewable area is 18 3/4 wide, 10 1/2 tall, and 21 1/2 on the diagonal.

> 24 hourI ordered two of these monitors and they look great. I have three issues with them, however: 1. No DVI cables included. They include a USB cable, a DisplayLink cable, and a VGA cable, but no DVI. I intended to use them over DVI, so I had to go buy separate cables. 2. The USB hub ports are covered by the cable management shield and are not easily accessible. There is a single USB port on the rear that can be used with the cable guard in place, but it isnt nearly as convenient as the side-mounted USB ports on my 24 Dell monitors. 3. The packaging was terribly difficult to open. I was actually concerned I might damage the monitor trying to get it out of the box. Opening the second one, I thought it would be easier after learning from the first, but it was still just as hard. I like to keep monitor and PC case boxes in case I need to move, but these were damaged beyond use trying to get the monitors out.

> 24 hourBefore I bought it, I read the reviews. But I cannot confirm the complaint about panel quality. Perhaps that observed phenomenon is related to the typical property of an IPS display. It has a high contrast (horizontal and vertical) except the corners. But if your sitting very close to the display then you may see the fading on the corners. Well Ive bought several IPS monitors from DELL in the past and I got never disappointed. So it was this time. - Very fast delivery! - Zero Pixel failure. - The vivid colors are stable over a wide viewing range. - Bright display with good contrast and an even light distribution. - Runs very cool. Only one thing is missing for calling it perfect: The gamma value cannot be manipulated in the setup of the monitor. It has to be done in the display settings of the attached computer. Personally I think it is the monitor with the best value. Sure, I recommend it!

> 24 hourThere is a glitch in hos it responds after sleep mode. The picture is distorted but cycling the power corrects the problem. Otherwise Im satisfied with the quality of the monitor and its picture. I especially like having the ability to change into portrait view for writing and editing. Good value.
