Much much better that a wire wheel.

reaches deep down into crevices to clear dirt and debris the knotted wires are durable and stiff

I have been using this wheel for approximately 6 months. I have not had a problem with wires falling out or spreading. It was worked well for me on removing rust in corners, removing paint, and cleaning some mill scale. I would recommend it.

I use these DeWalt wire wheels to help restore old tools - they do a great job of removing rust and paint. I have used other brands but the DeWalt seems better made and more durable. They don’t seem to throw off wire fragments as easily as the other brands - a very important safety consideration.

These remove mill scale, remove slag, brush polish. Best Ive used. The right amount of bite. Makita ones bite too hard. These are perfect.
