Dove Dermaseries Fragrance-Free Hand Cream for Dry Skin, 2.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

This product DOES work - HOWEVER My first experience with this resulted in the same comment as others - Oily, sticky residue, doesnt work. But I bought it while traveling and it was the only thing I had for lotion, so i tried it for a second time - and noticed the oiliness was less, and not sticky - and by the third time and for the rest of the tube IT WORKS EXACTLY AS ONE WOULD EXPECT. I typically have very dry hands and cuticles - and this relieves that dryness instantly. I always make sure to rub it into the cuticles. My thought is that normal product settling causes some bit of extra runniness/oiliness to be the first bit of product that comes out when you try it the first time. But then its a great product. I came here today to buy more, and when my package arrives im simply going to try and shake it up and move the product around in the tube before i use it the first time. This product does work to relieve dry hands. Im so glad Im going to have this going into the winter! Buying this double pack to have one tube at work, and one at home.

Like the Dove DermaSeries Fragrance-Free Skin Balm, for Dry, Cracked Skin that I have, this is totally petroleum based - no natural oils - so if you like all natural, this isnt the product for you. However, like the other product, its very soft and smooth. Although it feels a little greasy when first applying, it absorbs quite quickly on my hands and elbows, where I use it the most. It does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth, which I really need this time of the year!. I dont like the fragrance of Dove bath soap, unless theyve changed it over the years, and Im grateful that this doesnt have that fragrance and is fragrance free. I get tricked when squeezing some out of the bottle since its thinner that other hand lotions/creams I have in tubes, so beware - it can come out fast! Would I buy it in the future? Maybe... it is a nice hand lotion!

This is the only hand lotion my son, who has eczema and gets very dry hands, will use. There’s no scent, it doesn’t irritate the sensitive skin on the back of his hands and it isn’t sticky like ointments. It’s not a heavy cream, so it’s surprising how quickly it makes a difference. It is a bit pricey for a tube of hand cream.

No dislikes. I suffer from some kind of skin irritations on my hands and have trouble finding anything that helps until now. This lotion works very well to keep my hands moisturized.

These make my hands so soft!

Its a good moisturizer in general, but leaves that slippy feeling on the hands that makes it difficult to grip things tightly, such as container covers, etc... I have to wipe my hands with a paper towel to remove the extra even after applying a small amount.
