Ride or die product for me. I used to have a little Eczema on my hand and even steroid cream wasnt clearing it up 100%. I dont know what it is about this cream but I buy about 6 bottles a month and keep them in my car, at my parents house, in my purse, upstairs, downstairs... you get the point. Im grateful that I dont have to use a steroid cream and that I havent had Eczema is well over a year since I started using Dove DermaSeries hand cream. I tried Acquaphor, Cerave and everything else before finding this magic in a bottle.

I really was looking for the holy grail of hand cream. This is not it. During winter my sin cracks and peels. Because it catches on everything I then pull at it thus making it worse. Every night I put some sort of cream or lotion on my hands hoping that it will be a little better by morning. Never happens. Ive tried everything. Neutrogena hand cream, Cerave, Gold Bond, Seaweed co....so on and so forth. Nothing works. This stuff is sooooo thin and it wears off within minutes. I might as well as put nothing on my hands with this stuff. Only good thing is it is fragrance free which is what I want since Im sensitive to all fragrances. I guess back to the drawing board again.

I havent used Dove products in years. Its good to see they are still around. I like this hand cream, because being a Diabetic, my hands, skin and nails get dry frequently and even sometimes there is peeling of the skin. This hand cream feel smooth going on, its not greasy and it leaves my hands feeling soft. I apply it a few times a day and especially after washing my hands. It doesnt take a long time to absorb into your skin, which I like. This cream is fragrance free and hypoallergenic. I was surprised to see that the first ingredient is water.

I have extremely sensitive skin so a lot of products irritate my skin. I also have severe OCD and germs phobia and the pandemic my hand washing became so frequent that my hands became so dry that my skin was constantly cracking, getting rashes, extreme dryness to the point where I could barely move my hands without pain. I tried a million hand creams. All of them either burned my broken skin, or the fragrance was too strong and unbearable. Just a day or two after using this lotion after every hand wash my hands started to heal and applying it didn’t irritate my broken skin at all. My hands are back to being silky smooth even with all my obsessive hand washing. No scent, which is preferable for hand lotion. Love this stuff.

As a general rule, I do not use hand lotions, but it’s that time of year that my hands take on the appearance and feel like sandpaper. I have no choice and break my “no hand creams” rule. The reason that I don’t like hand creams is that I am nearly OCD about clean hands. If they feel sticky at all or get the slightest bit of dirty, I’m running to the sink to wash them clean. Anyway, ‘tis the dry hand season, and I am delighted to test Dove DermaSeries Fragrance-Free Hand Cream, a tired-and-true brand. Much like Dove face soap, which I had used for years, the hand cream is fragrance-free and lightweight in appearance and application. It absorbs within a flash. Best of all, unlike other creams, I barely feel I have it on, and I don’t have the urge to run to the sink and wash it off! So it’s a lifesaver for my poor, winter battered hands. Plus, the 2.5-ounce tube fits perfectly in the purse. Please note, I would have given a full five-star review for the Dove DermaSeries Fragrance-Free Hand Cream but I question the toxicity of some of the ingredients. For instance, Cyclopentasiloxane is associated with some environmental concerns and possibly health risks. Know the facts, and use at your own discretion.

I use this hand cream when I volunteer at our local animal shelter. Cats do not like products on my hands that are scented (hand cream or hand sanitizer). Cream does a good job of moisturizing. Highly recommended.

Horribly greasy, going to try it on the boat trailer bearings, very water repellent.
