It came in without a cap and spilled out. The smell was horrible. It looks like the product is fake.

When I received this item, it was oozing product all over the lid. The lid is a joke. It doesnt work well at staying closed. When I tried to use the deodorant by twisting the bottom as stated, nothing came out. Couldnt even use the product. What a flop.

I had ZERO expectations for this Deodorant but I wanted to test it out. I was shocked how smooth my skin felt after 7 days, it turns clear once rubbed in and kept me fresh all day. I usually have to go for the strong stuff (clinical strength) so this is a huge surprise for me.

Given the price, I expected this stuff to be luxurious, dry dry/soak in almost immediately and keep me fresh as a delightfully scented flower. It did none of that. I was careful to follow directions on how much to use and spend quite a while rubbing it in, but it never really feels completely dry. The scent reminds me of depilatory cream and if Jasmine smelled like that no-one would plant it. So its not especially pleasant but its not strong, which saves it. However it lingers on clothing. It also didnt cope fully with working up a sweat while working out. It did well enough for me not to offend anyone on my way to shower, so not a huge deal - I just expected a whole lot more, since my inexpensive, now sadly discontinued Antiperspirant Deodorant, always kept me fully fresh. It works for others, so it might work for you - but I wont be buying it again.

I guess it wasnt what I was expecting, very over priced for a small bottle and wasnt really any better than regular deodorant.

I have tried many different kinds of anti-perspirants and deodorants in the past and Dove stick is the only one I will buy now. I have used it for years and it still works great. This dry serum doesnt really improve upon the stick. It works just as well, but with a different form. You need to twist the bottom with every application since the cream comes up through two little openings on the smooth curved plastic top. You then smooth the plastic with the cream around on your armpits. It dries within seconds. There is a warning on the label that you should consult your doctor if you have kidney disease and is the same warning that is on the invisible solid stick. This is not very comforting even thought I dont have kidney disease but does make me wonder how safe it actually is to absorb into my skin. I do remember reading about the risks of using products containing forms of aluminum which may be the ingredient culprit that prompts this warning. Anyway, this product does work but I do prefer the stick since I am not really a fan of rubbing the plastic around on my skin. A solid stick just feels better to me. The scent does last all day and is a pleasant, clean fragrance. At the time of this review the retail price was around $11 for 1.7 oz which seems a bit steep but the product works to control perspiration and odor.

Well, I never thought Id get this excited about a deodorant, but here it is: I adore this deodorant. There are several reasons. First of all, it smells really, really great. I love jasmine, so I was always going to be biased, anyway. Dont expect to go around waving your armpits at the world, suddenly transforming that metro car into a flower-scented boudoir, or anything, but you will notice a lingering scent of flowers around your underarms for a while. And: you will remain dry. Dove claims that the dryness will hold for 48 hours, and I HAVE not tested that theory, since I reapply and/or shower before that, but when I wake up, I have no dewy feel under my arms. At ALL. This Dove Dry Serum Antiperspirant/Deodorant feels silky (its a dry gel-like texture when you apply it) upon application, and theres no feeling of wetness at all, ever. I will definitely buy this again. I have been using Nivea for years, but I am quite impressed with this product. Ive never tried Dove deodorant, but I like staying dry, and I quite like the scent.

This antiperspirant deodorant is highly efficacious, rising to its promise of 48 hours of protection from sweat (leveraging aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex GLY at 12.9%) and body odor. I showered, applied, and after two days of dog walks and gardening, it had done its stated job to its stated elite standard. Its moisturizers were also conspicuously hydrating; no signs of chafing after two fairly rigorous days of physicality. While the marketing department calls this a dry serum, it goes on wet before drying in five minutes. If you wait that long to put your top on, it wont transfer residue to your garment. The product uses fragrance to generate a scent the manufacturer wants you to associate with dewey greens and jasmine. While feminine and pleasant, it didnt necessarily evoke dewey greens and jasmine. Overall, this product is tremendously effective in doing its core job. And as scent is subjective, I do recommend you try it, and hope youll find its fragrance pleasing to your own sensibilities. - Was this review of use to you? If so, let me know by clicking Helpful.
