As tax professionals, we do an awful lot of printing. The HL-L6200 printers are workhorses and we have to keep them in good shape. This drum replacement drops right in and works perfectly. Remember to reset the drum counter!

My Brother HL-2270DW printer was leaving toner ink streaks on anything I was printing. I never had that issue with any laser printer before, and it didnt seem like the problem was with the toner, so I ordered this drum unit to replace the one that came with the printer. Voila, no more streaks!

This is the 2nd or 3rd new drum I have installed in a Brother HL-L6200 DW. I am currently using my third printer printer of this type. The installation just takes a few minutes. Open the printer toner/drum compartment. Pull the drum carriage out and remove the toner cartridge. Transfer the toner cartridge into the new drum and place the new drum carriage and toner cartridge back into the printer. (Follow the included instructions in the box.) Its always nice not to have to use the more expensive Brother drums and toner cartridges. The print quality using this drum is good and the printer handle double-sided documents easily. This drum unit replaces the OEM unit and is accepted by the printer with no problems . It was well packaged for shipping and came in a sealed opaque plastic bag. At just over half of the OEM cost its a good value if it lasts as long as the OEM part -- time will tell.

If not for the differing item labels, you would never know this was not made by Brother. Quality is just as good as the real thing.

I have a Brother HL-L6200DW monochrome printer. Since it was new, it has produced pages streaked with toner. This has only gotten worse over time. So, I took a chance on this after market drum cartridge. It fit my printer perfectly! The pages are now crisp and clear. Very happy with this drum cartridge and feel that it is of the same quality as the original.

This was a perfect fit and a great least expensive alternative for my Brother HL-L5200DWT, Will definitely order again.
