This drum unit replaces the OEM unit and is accepted by the printer with no problems . It was well packaged for shipping and came in a sealed opaque plastic bag. At just over half of the OEM cost its a good value if it lasts as long as the OEM part -- time will tell.

I really like Brother printing equipment, but some of the replacement items can be expensive. I needed to replace my drum unit in my all-in-one and was happy to see this was available as a Vine item. It is not the cheapest drum unit Amazon sells, but it is still considerably less expensive than the factory part. The quality of this unit is fine, it installed in my printer without issue. The most critical thing for me is print quality. Saving money doesnt help if the print is bad. I compared print after this was installed to print from the same machine early in the OEM drums life and I cant tell the difference. The other critical issue for me is life of the part. Buying a cheaper drum is a false economy if it fails early. This replacement is rated at 30,000 pages and Im nowhere near to that yet. Print quality has remained excellent so far and I will update in the event of an early failure or print quality issues.

This item operates just like my previous version of the drum. Satisfied with this item.

My Brother HL-2270DW printer was leaving toner ink streaks on anything I was printing. I never had that issue with any laser printer before, and it didnt seem like the problem was with the toner, so I ordered this drum unit to replace the one that came with the printer. Voila, no more streaks!

I have a Brother HL-L6200DW monochrome printer. Since it was new, it has produced pages streaked with toner. This has only gotten worse over time. So, I took a chance on this after market drum cartridge. It fit my printer perfectly! The pages are now crisp and clear. Very happy with this drum cartridge and feel that it is of the same quality as the original.

Works just as great as the original! With a lower price! Cant beat that! Highly recommend!

Product worked as expected... Image of printing was clear with no blurr... Would definatly buy again. Price was reasonable as well..
