I bought two 9 x 12 size for drop cloth curtains for a picture window, and they worked out fairly well. I washed them and dried them in the dryer, to help with the shrinkage issue. The size of the two panels after washing was fairly close. However, the hemmed and selvage edges curled somewhat, making it look sloppy. It WAS great that there was no seam for a cloth that large. Then I bought 6 x 9 cloths for other windows and washed them both, but let them air dry to help with the shrinkage issue. Well, as you can see from the pictures, the difference in the shrinkage between the two panels was nine inches. I understand a small difference, but not nine inches! I had to hide the shorter one behind a side table! Also, the hemmed edges curled terribly. I compared this fabric to other drop cloths I bought at Home Depot and the quality, thickness, straightness of these from Melca was not nearly as good.

This is a heavy duty drop cloth that will last for many years.

I wish i would have read the reviews first before buying this. I am not sure they are 100 percent cotton because they do not lighten if you are using for curtains. I wasted my money. I had to buy a different brand.
