E3D Genuine Heater Cartridge - 24v 40w (E-HEATER-24V-40W)

How was thrown off by the white wires as well however I got my order from reputable reseller printed solid and also came with white cables, seems like e3d has switched colors, just wanted to assure whoever buys this and gets white colored wires not to worry also you could tell if its genuine e3d if there is writing on it and the ends are sealed and beveled unlike cheap Chinese which are hollow slightly

Works great, but was thrown off when the heater supplied was white, instead of red. I order lots of parts directly from e3D and this is the first white 24v 40w heater that I’ve encountered. Seller might consider updating the info or product image.

Busted heater on a prusa (24v system, E3Dv6 hot end). This fixed it right up. Nice long cable, with the ends helpfully ferruled

Of the two that I ordered the one that was actually a 24v cartridge works as expected. The second one that I ordered had a label of 24v on the card in the package but was actually a 12v cartridge. I didnt check the label on the cartridge before installing it in my printer and spent a ton of time troubleshooting before I took it back out of the printer and realized that it was the wrong version. I requested a replacement because I want a spare and the second one that was sent was also labeled as 24v but was again a 12v. I then had to spend time running all over town returning the two 12v cartridges because for some reason Amazon would not let me return both of them at the same location.

There may be other uses for this product but if you intend to use it for 3D printing, know that this product does not come with any connectors.

Construction was nice and study but the wire lead length was advertised as 1 meter. It however came no where close to that.

I updated my hot end from 12v to 24v and this has been running strong.

It doesnt look like the photo and it looks used. I seriously doubt its “genuine” anything but as long as it works its whatever.

Used this during my 12V to 24V printer conversion. Heats up nice and fast, maintains steady temperatures.
