ELEGOO Mercury Plus 2 in 1 3D Printing Wash and Cure Station V2 for Mars Photon S Photon Mono LCD SLA DLP 3D Printer Models

A little small for my Creality ld-006 prints, but works great and gets the job done.

I ordered this with my Elegoo Mars 2 printer. Since its made to pair with some of the Elegoo printers, I didnt have to remove my printed object from the print platform before I cleaned it. The bracket holding the print platform slid right in to the bracket on the cleaner. The instructions were easy to understand so that I felt confident that I knew what to do even though I had never used a 3D printer before. Having a cleaning and curing capability in the same box keeps my bench clutter down to a reasonable level.

I love the fact, I dont need to order or make an arm for my Elegoo Mars printers, since it is made for the Elegoo Products. The timer w/LCD display is much better than the competition for certain. Id highly recommend printing a lifting knob for the cover, just as one should for the Mars printers as well.

So in my experience if you have one of the Elegoo printers (Mars, Mars Pro, Mars 2, Mars 2 Pro) or a printer of similar dimensions then this is the perfect all in one solution for washing and curing. This worked perfectly with 70-90% Isopropyl and works even better with 200% denatured alcohol. After a wash cycle there is no stickiness at all. I had originally planned to make my own curing station with a rotating base and a UV LED and washing station with an ultrasonic cleaner. However, I was concerned with possible fire hazards with the ultrasonic vaporizing excessive flammable vapor. I came across this device and it was perfect. It combined both washing and curing in a small affordable package and I am glad that I decided to get it. Favorite Features: 1. You can dip the entire Elegoo Mars print bed into the washing tank cleaning the print and the bed at the same time. This saves time in my workflow and I really like this feature 2. All in one work flow saves me alot of time and keeps the mess low Below are some things to know before you buy. None of the things below are big deals but I want to provide honest feedback/observations for anyone looking to get this product: 1. Extra/Replacement wash containers are not YET sold on amazon I hope in the future they will sell them so that I can get an extra one to extend the life of my washing solution. However, if you need one just contact their customer support and they will totally take care of you :) 2. The main motor that drives the spinning of the magnetic stirrer and the rotation of the plexi glass stand for stirring emits a noticeable stepper motor whine when it is moving at max speed while operating in the wash mode. Its about as loud as a normal 3D printer stepper motor making a fast move without micro stepping. This is not really that big of a deal for two reasons. One it is in my garage, and two the washing process isnt really that long so even if I was not in my garage it would not really bother me all that much. 3. Just like stated in the description this is not really designed for water washable resin. I tried it out and it kind of worked but water washable resin really needs some flowing water to get it clean. I am also new to resin printing so I will update this if I figure out how to make this more effective with water. 4. The beeping noise that is emitted when you press the buttons is kind of loud and to my knowledge cannot be shut off (Its like the same volume as a microwave). This does not really bother me though but it is just something to know.

I use this unit with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and the spinning feature spins the alcohol and does a great job cleaning parts. I havent used the curing feature as I bought this for cleaning only, as I was using an Ultra Sonic Cleaner to clean my prints I must say for me this unit gets my prints much cleaner. Good unit, easy to use and set up. You will need a good amount of cleaning solution to get started.

I used to use separate containers and a paint brush to clean prints, now into the tank and clean remove and cure.

I bought this with the Mars 2 Pro, and they are both amazing! Worth every penny!

I order the Elegoo Wash and Cure machine because I was tired of the mess of removing resin covered parts from the build plate. Being this shipped from Amazon, I received it next day. I am so happy I bought this. Cleaning parts/models after printing using the Elegoo Wash and Cure machine has saved the mess. It is quick and easy to clean parts, usually takes about 2-2 1/2 minutes for parts to be cleaned and way less of a mess removing them from the plate after. The curing cycle is just as fast taking roughly 2-3 minutes for most part. I also found that this machine will also accept the build plate from the newly released Anycubic Mono SE resin printer, which makes this a versatile machine not just for Elegoo resin printer owners (Martians). Considering the price, this machine seems to be well built. I have been using it for only a few weeks now and can say it does everything as advertised. Elegoo is a quality brand and their customer service is amazing. I have 2 of the Mars printers to go with this Wash and Cure machine and I can say I am very please with their service anytime I have had an issue. You cant/wont go wrong if you pick this machine. I highly highly recommend this machine.

After venturing from FDM printing into resin printing, I started to look at the post processing side of the art. While many people had many different ways of doing things, this way just seemed to make way more sense. The ability to have a machine that takes up the same footprint that can both clean the print and cure it afterwards seemed like a no brainer. Keeping in mind that I chose the Elegoo Mars 2 Mono as my printer. This machine is flat-out perfect! Since everything is timer-based, there is no guess work involved in anything. It just does what it is supposed to do. Now onto the only con, which turned into a pro. After I had opened everything up, I realized the lid that snaps onto the wash container wouldnt latch. I contacted customer support figuring I would get a response along the line of well that sucks for you. But instead they apologized and sent me out a replacement free of charge! In the meantime, I was able to get 2 of the 4 latches to lock, which keeps it from spilling out. Since I am using water-washable resin, it just has water in it, so fumes and evaporation isnt a big concern. The noise it makes during cleaning is a bit high pitched, but not completely unbearable. I would like to see future revisions give the ability to heat the cleaning solution, but I just use an old aquarium heater to warm it up after sitting overnight. Not sure if it would be a good idea for IPA, so I wouldnt try it. Hopefully Elegoo makes a version of this that works for the Saturn as well as this does for the Mars 2!
