> 24 hourPurchased this camera to keep an eye on the front of my house, and was able to cover enough to need only 1 when I thought I would have to have 2 cameras. Surprised at the clarity and great detail, day and night. Note the detail in the photo I posted, this is in overcast light at a distance of about 30 feet. Easy operation using the included software, have alerts setup so I know when friends park out front and stop bye, and saves recordings so I can catch my neighbors dogs in the yard. Great purchase at the right price.

> 24 hourI was disappointed to find out that the varifocal feature of this camera would not zoom out as far as an actual Dahua varifocal camera and one of them when fully zoomed would not focus. I had to pull it back some to get it to focus. If Empire could get this issue fixed it would be a great camera. But that is probably why they are able to sell it cheaper because these are cameras that didnt pass inspection to be sold through a commercial distributor.

> 24 hourThis is a fairly inexpensive camera, but dont let that fool you. The low-light performance is amazing. You really can get good images at night with no other illumination other than a partial moon. With a full moon out, its super crisp and clear with well-defined shadows. It can see better in the dark than I can, at least. I added an external IR illuminator to keep bugs away. A cheap illuminator covers my very large front yard and makes a clear image at night. It has built-in IR, but I dont use that. I used the varifocal lens to dial in my exact field of view that I needed. Easy as can be. The mount is petty sturdy and simple. I connected it via PoE.

> 24 hourThis is replacing a Lorex system that I had previously. Right out of the box without adjusting any settings, this camera completely blows the Lorex cameras out of the water. The zoom feature has been great to help me get the camera covering the exact areas that I need. So far I am very impressed. Andy from EmpireTech has also been super helpful throughout the process of selecting the right cameras for my system. I would 10/10 recommend both this camera and buying from EmpireTech.
