I purchased this item to replace a Type Q Sears filter in my vacuum cleaner. The Amazon headline says Type Q but the packaging does not. The filter will install, but is not the same shape as a Q and is made of different material. Its made for the earlier Sears canister vacuum, not the newer unit that takes a Type Q filter.

Bought these for an older model canister vacuum. Couldn’t find replacements in the store because most retailers only carry replacement bags for items they sell, but these are exactly what I needed & the price & was right. Saved me from buying a new (and expensive) vacuum!

Product came with 2 belts. First belt burned up during first use. Second one has worked so far 2x. So a bit weary. Could be that one belt was too taught. As comparison original one from Hoover lasted 5 years.
