The vacuum bags look like the correct size and they look strong. They dont look any different than the OEM Kenmore 5055 bags. Havent used them yet.

Great bags and affordable

I have been using these bags, in my Kenmore vaccumn for a year now. Love them seal snug and doesnt let dust out, in my engine compartment.

Time to reorder more bags but after re reading reviews and agreeing with two mentioned problems, I will try another product. 1st: I find a lot of dirt in the bottom of the compartment that must have escaped from around the cardboard seal. Ive wiped it out several times so I know it is not only due to one bag. 2nd: I just tore the last bag at the seal as I tried to insert it - glue job did not allow enough clearance. Other bags did not tear but were had to insert. I see there is a near perfect rated bag that is cheaper per bag although you have to buy twice as many.

When I was looking for bags, I saw reviews stating that these bags are very thin and easy to rip. The previous OEM bags I had put on before also tended to rip when I had to replace them so I figured it was just people being too rough when replacing the bag. Little did I know how thin and paper like the bag was. I nearly ripped it as I was just sliding it in and the way the vacuum bag holder works, you really have to pull it into the slot, which doesnt work if the material could easily rip. Get a better bag, or a better vacuum, but just be prepared to rip a few bags before you get the hang of it.
