I bought these to try them while wood working. They worked just as I expected them to. I used them for prep work before both painting and staining and they worked well.

I do woodworking and these tack cloths do a great job of picking up the dust after sanding. Before staining and/or applying a final poly or oil finish elimination of dust is extremely important to the final product. These tack cloths serve that purpose very well.

I do a lot of painting with a spray gun and used these while redoing a trailer. Worked excellent! Just let them air dry for about 10-15mins and they work like a champ. Would easily get these again.

These do a good job with prep work. Gets all the excess lint of right before paint. Good to have around the garage.

This tack cloth works great. The box came beat up, but each tack cloth is individually wrapped in sealed plastic so nothing got contaminated. Very sticky and picked up all the dust from sanding with a few swipes. Each cloth is also quite big once unfolded so it goes a long way. This is way cheaper than anything I can find at my hardware stores, so fantastic buy for me!

I have been using tack cloths for many many years and while I have never really had any problems I have noticed that some have better tackiness than others. These are just as good as they good ones and have good tack and leave no residue. Hope this helps and thanks..

This will ruin any surfaces you use it on due to the sheer amount of residue that it leaves compared to other brands Ive tried. Good luck cleaning it off.

This is an open weave cotton cloth (think cheese cloth) impregnated with sticky goop of uncertain parentage. It works well to pick up dust of all kinds...saw dust, sanding dust, plain old dust, etc. It does exactly what its supposed to, without leaving any residue behind. When they stop working well, toss in the trash and open a new one. Theres nothing to grouse about. Just dont use them as handkerchiefs and youll be fine...

Tack cloths are not a new technology. They arent mysterious and Id think most folks that do painting or finishing are familiar with them. They can be rather expensive per cloth for what they are though. These tack cloths are well below what I can find them for locally on a per piece basis, and of better than average quality to boot. They are slightly larger, and slightly tackier without being so sticky as to want to grab and stick to the surface of my project while gently wiping it down just prior to painting. Once it grabs onto the dust or whatever it doesnt let it go. If I am careful to fold the cloth so a new surface is exposed every so often I find I can use one cloth for a very large area or project or re-use the same cloth several times. The individual wrapping is perfect for me as a someone who does a fair bit of painting work but only in occasional bursts since Im a home mechanic and DIY guy. This means they dont dry out or get contaminated and fouled while waiting to be used. All things considered, I recommend these!

Individually wrapped and sealed, these are very tacky and quality tack cloth. I do a lot of epoxy resin and wood working that requires a completely dust free finish for the polishing stage. The tackier it is, the better it is for lifting off the fine dust and particles. I like the size. I tyically dont need a full sheet because it doesnt take a lot of cloth for it to do its job. This is a very good find and Ill be buying more of it in the future.
