These were about half the price of a SAM at the time of purchase, and feel comparable in quality. Product of china(?), perhaps less durable if you plan to re use them. If price was comparable, I would recommend going with the USA made SAM, but at around half the price, Id rather have two of these. Check the prices on both options and choose accordingly.

Light weight folded splint, fits in my IFAK pack much better than the rolled version, I hope never to need to use them, but glad they are there.

Would consider a smaller splint or if need be cut down to fit kit. All being, said it is a great medical tool to have if camping or weekend excursions.

These are small enough for my IFAK. I carry several in my primary First Aid Kit, you can use trama shears to cut to fit an array of body parts and personal sizes. Looking at their illustrations they omitted fingers and 90 degree splints. I dont agree with their suggested use as a makeshift Cervical immobilization device. If you are into off road vehicles, hunting, or hiking in remote areas these belong in your kit.

Last item I needed for my trauma kit.

I mean, its hard to write a review of this since I havent had to use it and hopefully never will. But its exactly as shown and described. Its in my hiking backpack just in case.

They are as described, I purchased them for a first aid kit I have for bug out. I have confidence when they are needed they will work as described

Cheaper than the competition, but same quality. Buying local and supporting our Vets are some of my core values. This order checked both of those boxes.
