Dunno why, but in the last month I had two brand new supplies fail in a row. Both $150 range Corsair and EVGA 850s that showed up already defective or failed within minutes. The Corsair took an entire new build out with it. The EVGA showed up with a funky 12v rail right out of the box. Doesnt say much about quality control anymore does it? These days the manufacturer name doesnt mean as much, it is the actual model that sets them apart, or not. And there is no way to build right cheaper!

EVGA is one of the best companies to get your power supply from and this is one of their best power supplies and its priced just right and they usually have 8 to 10 year warranties through them.

Two words: Kick ass!! Solved my power problem. Stable and quiet. Hooked up my 8 cards, stable power and plenty. Also 9 VGA ports, from the usual 6 in most < 1300W PSUs. This was an upgrade from my EVGA 1000W, so size is just about the same, 1/2 longer, but snug fit into my case.

Extremely quiet. Purchased it because of a Toms Hardware comparison for noise output. Performs as expected. The only sound I hear from my case is my mechanical drives.

Works great, is quiet and runs cool. Only complaint is that the wires are stiffer than a board.

The modular cabels are thicker than ****. Hate that.

Update: After 1 month of usage, my PC stopped working. I was shocked, what could possibly go wrong when you buy high end hardware? I couldnt get BIOS to show up. I tried everything I could think of. Eventually what nailed it was when I plugged this power supply into my old Z97 Haswell system, it immediately started boot looping.

Installed in my PC way back in 2014, and it has been reliable until very recently. Good noise level, and nice quality cables too.

Much cheaper before the Tariffs and all the covid madness, but really a great psu. will last many years, built fantastic.
