Didnt feel like driving to Tandy leather for a bottle, and if memory serves me, it was cheaper. I just started doing leather craft & I hope this works well on my sheath. Ive read so many different ways to treat leather but I seemed to read about Neatsfoot oil often.

This is a good, reliable product from a good, reliable company. I make leather jewelry and use it daily. It preps the leather nicely, which gives me an evenly poroused surface to work on and it offers the amount of waterproofing and protection that I hope for in my products. It has the Fiebing name attached to is, which means its consistent and reliable. I recommend this product.

It is difficult to rate something when the container and the item in the container have not been opened. I ordered this for a project in the works and will use it when completed. Until then, It is difficult to say!!
