This stoker is simply made and extra sturdy. We will be using it with an outdoor fireplace. Dont want to use a wimpy tool on big fireplaces.

I purchased this for my outdoor fire pit. It is really quite sturdy and has a good, long reach to keep your hands back from the burning logs. The hook near the end works well to hook logs and drag them to another location in the fire. Overall, a really nice poker.

I wish the round handle part was more elliptical. For better control of twisting the pole. Other wise... very nice.

This poker is truly heavy duty and sturdy. This is a solid poker, not snap together like others, well built. long enough to work in the fire pit and not get burned, 40 inch size is great, 28-inch poker doesnt allow you work in the fire pit without feeling high heat. The heft of this poker is awesome, no bending, warping or problems with moving logs in the pit. I would consider giving these as a great gift to people who enjoy fire pits. A-1 product-very satisfied.
