I use this over a very large fire pit. Its perfect. It has a long reach, easy to grip loop, and is very sturdy. There is no problem moving logs, hooking cast iron skillets, or moving grates. I would totally recommend this one as it has far more reach than others and its a solid piece.

Simple, Perfection, Sturdy!!! 6 stars if I could really rate it! This thing is completely indestructable. Its strong, the right size, and VERY HEAVY DUTY. Its also the perfect size and weight. I wish Id have ordered it years ago. Im very glad I finally purchased it. Only bad part was, that it took a VERY VERY VERY lime to ship it. These things must NOT be in stock.

It’s the right length and is sturdy enough for flipping logs in the fire pit

This poker is long, and being one piece I don’t have to keep tightening up the end. It is heavy duty and does not appear that it will fall apart or break anytime soon.

Does what it should..

This poker fits the bill for me. I have used a solid rod for almost 40 years with my wood furnace. It worked well enough. But this poker is even better. Well made, sturdy and the finger it has is worth its weight in gold. I can use it to flip over logs to get them burning on the side. A great feature and easy enough. I can pull logs forward with it because of the point on the finger too. And of course I can push things back with the pointed end of the poker. It is very well made and I am sure I never need another one. It is certainly more than long enough as well. Highly recommend.
