This is a very high quality kit compared to others Ive used in the past [three kids, a wife, and a dog so I have experience with cracked i-screens]. My advice...Take Your Time!!! There are a ton of great videos on YouTube. You should watch and re-watch and re-watch those videos until you have a feel for how the process should go end-to-end. If you get stuck...or confused...or tired...or frustrated....STOP...catch your breadth and pickup where you left off. Theres a huge opportunity to save yourself a bunch of $$$ DIY-style versus taking your device to an i-medic for repair.

I consider myself handy and this was a bit of a pain to perform. Maybe because my sons iPad had a screen with a lot of cracks and made it difficult to remove. I recommend heating up the adhesive quite a bit to allow for easy removal. Also lay the small screws out in the order that they were removed because they are different sizes. Good lighting would help too. I did manage to complete the job, but the glass is slightly bulging where the connector wire folds over and the touchscreen behaves very differently than the OEM. Sometimes a lag, sometimes very sensitive. I am curious to see how my 5 year old reacts the next time he plays with his Ipad. We will likely just buy him a new one. ALSO, what were some of the tools for, I did not see them in the instruction videos. **EDIT** I contacted Amazon customer service to receive a replacement screen, which they promptly sent out. After installing, the iPad now works perfectly and my son is happy. I must have received a defective glass the first time around.

If there are back spots on you mini this is not the correct screen to buy. You have to get the LED screen first and this goes on top of that.

You will need to buy another type of double stick tape for adhesion. The tape this one came with was not great. I also watched several YouTube videos to learn how to replace the screen. This came with no instructions. The product itself is good, however.

The screen works great. Not to hard to install, just watch a few YouTube videos. My only complaint is the adhesive doesn’t stick well. I used a stronger adhesive tape, also needed a case so bought the otterbox one to help keep the screen in place. Since the case has been on I have had no problems and my iPad is like new.

Screen came well packed for shipping and with all the tools. No manual and no adhesive tape. I had tape from a prior screen replacement and YouTube is your friend for instructions. Make sure you know where all the screws came from because they are usually specific for each place. All in all a good purchase. Replacement time was 30-40 minutes.

This was a great price and easy to use. So glad that we could save money.

The fit was off so much, it would not stay intact. It’s as if it was warped or something. I’ve replace many screens with a different brand but this one was way off.
