so hard to install wound up breaking the ipad further trying

I pad was working befor starting. But as soon I cut the old screen of haven’t been about to turn back on. Can hear it click but nothing.

The fit was off so much, it would not stay intact. It’s as if it was warped or something. I’ve replace many screens with a different brand but this one was way off.

Excessive ghosting even after extra taping. Third disassembly and the glass cracked from needing excessive handling to troubleshoot the ghosting. Glass is 3x the thickness of OEM, and is probably grounding out too easily since it’s so thick. (Seasoned repairman).

Ive repaired 4 ipad minis using different replacement screens, and this is the best one Ive seen. The tools actually work well - many sets just come with the same garbage tools that arent useful. Dont kid yourself, though - any screen repair on an ipad mini is difficult.

It takes quite a lot of experience to tackle the iPad. The touch works..okay, the bottom right hand corner isn’t very sensitive, you really have to go for what you’re touching to get it to sense your finger. It could also use some stronger adhesion.
