Fluke 324 True-RMS Clamp Meter with Temperature & Capacitance, Measure AC Current Up To 400 A and AC/DC Voltage Up to 600 V, Includes Backlit Display, Measure Resistance Up To 4000 Ohms

It came with two AAA batteries already installed. Bought this model to test capacitors, but meter stayed at zero microfarad reading. Finally realized the leads had to be pushed into the meter really hard, but they won’t work without that constant pressure. Tried the test many times, and each time when the probes were removed from the terminals and then immediately placed back on the terminals, had to push the leads in hard again to get it to read above zero. Don’t believe it’s a lead issue, it appears to be an internal connection issue. There is no secure feel or snapping sound when the leads are inserted. Can’t rely on the meter, so had to return it. Don’t like that the leads are connected at the bottom of the meter instead of the face of the meter.

For A/C work, it does everything you need it do. But it needs a magnetic on the back.

Easy to use, all functions worked as expected. I havent had used it for a significant amount of time but from my initial run its true to its specs. Made in Malaysia, English instructions. I stuck that sliver of white sticker on the notch to make it more visible. Limited only by 4000 ohm resistance, and 100microF measurement ranges. Thumbs up!

Fast shipping, great price

I am an appliance/HVAC tech, have been using this meter for over a year now without any issues. The only thing I wish I checked was the fact that it wont read lower resistance values. Most of the time I need resistance values to determine if sensors are defective or not and have to pull out another meter. Another minor complain is that the wires arent as flexible some of the other meters I own, though that doesnt really effect the performance.

Does everything I wanna AC and DC great buy was less than $200

A must for a Technician

spending a few dollars more for Flukes 324 clamp meter was well worth it. Works fine as described and as expected, solid and rugged. Will work good and last a long time. Temp measurement handy.
