Title is misleading, says 3 pack but you only get 2. Picture shown is correct with a 2 pack. Other wise product is exactly as shown

I was unaware of polishing water until I got my Fuval 206 canister filter. This is way too big for my canister (my bad) but I took scissors to it to make it fit. Water is very clear. The polisher does get mushy after a few months but no big deal to swap it out for a new one. Once this supply runs out I will look for the polisher specific to my Fuval 206! If none, it is no big deal to cut to shape.

Works great I have two red eared sliders and a few fish in a 120 gallon tank, I use 2 of these filters in the top basket for getting the big stufd before moving onto my bio rings... My turtles are very messy eaters missing half the food they eat I swear and with this high output of a canister these keep right up with it, I use two of these in the top tray with carbon sock under them then middle tray is loaded with almost 3 boxes of bio rings, and bottom tray with 1 1/2 boxes of bio rings on top with 2 white pads (filter floss) on the bottom mainly to catch particles off of the biorings which put off ceramic sand for the first 2 months or so, I use the white ones now to keep my water crystal clear....love the pump.and.these blue pads! Ps... There is another seller on here who I have found that sells these in a generic for almost half the price same size thickness and structure just half price and without fancy boxing highly sugjest saving the few bucks ;-) have a good one

This oem replacement works like it should by removing the finer particulates the larger pads dont. I added 2 of these polishing pads and a bag of carbon/ammo chips to the bottom basket of my FX6 and the water is sparkling clear on my planted aquarium. Once the pad starts to fall apart when cleaning, its time to replace. I recommend that these pads are replaced at that time and avoid trying to get more life out of it by placing it above the newer pad as some aquarium forum posts suggest as it may clog the newer pad as it falls apart.

Well if you have seen any of my reviews about Fluval or Seachem products, you undoubtedly will come to a conclusion that I only use these 2 products & I buy in bulk for the best price. Why? Because they work plane and simple, I have seen the off brands at great prices and even gave them a shot, while the off brand does a good job, I found that at least in my setups (multiple very large tanks and heavenly stocked Cichlids African and SA/CAs which are very very large and messy fish) the off brands clogged up a bit faster. I am a fantic when it comes to maintaining my tanks. I run a total of 5 Fluval FX6 filters (2 in my African 135 and 3 in my 220 CA/SA along with 3 Fluval FX4 in my other 3 tanks from 30 to 90 gallon) These polishing pads really trap and polish the water combined with The Blue & White Fluval pads and water is crystal clear giving the illusion my fish are floating on mid air. These filter pads work in many other canister filters as well with very little effort. Bottom line if you run any of the Fluval FX series these pads are a must and ate worth every penny!

I use the Fluval FX5 filter for a 125 gallon RES turtle tank. For anyone out there that knows anything about turtles the are messy! With that said since I switched to the FX5 my tank has never been so clean and I dont have to clean the filter nearly as often as any other filter I have used on this tank in the past 4-5 years.

I use this in my fx5 on a 125 gallon tank that has exactly (1) fish. Yes, only one fish. After about 2 weeks in my filter, i noticed barely any water was being filtered. I opened up my fx5 and this pad was already clogged. I rinsed it and cleaned it and put it back in. After another week, it clogged again. I just tossed it after that and the water flow is fine.
