Nice size for my African grey. She hasnt used it yet because it takes her awhile to try her new perches but I know she will eventually and Im happy with the quality.

One of my rescue birds is an Amazon parrot, and if you’re not familiar, he is LARGE – a very big bird compared to my others (a Caique and a Hahn’s Macaw). So, naturally, he requires a much larger perch than my little guys, but in the beginning I didn’t realize just HOW LARGE his perch would have to be. This perch does the trick. For little birds, the sandy texture would definitely be too rough on their feet, but for my big guy, this is perfect to have in his cage along with his other smoother perches so he has some variety. This one really helps to keep his claws at bay and lengthens the period of time I need to take him for a grooming appointment, so I appreciate that. I also appreciate how nicely the product itself was packaged, and it comes with everything you need to easily attach it to pretty much any cage. The bright blue is really pretty too, I have to say.

It was time to retire a lava perch which quit being abrasive enough for my bird to do her toenails and beak. This perch has some nice sandpaper grit to it and was uniquely U-Shaped, so I thought Id give it a try. Its good! I have a large Cal Cage and the washers were just barely big enough to keep the perch in place. <see photo> The packaging was wrapped pretty well, to keep the sand from rubbing off in transit.

This perch is a great size and looks good in the cage. I like the curve but the only downside for my bird personally is that he is afraid of it lol I dont know if its because its blue or because its new but anytime I try to put him on the perch he flies away from it Im sure its something that will just take some getting used to.

This is a great size for large birds. The texture is perfect for beak grinding and foot exfoliating. I have it on the cage of our new resident. I have not been able to catch him using the perch for a picture. He seems to like it. It is heavy enough I’m not worried about moving and spooking him. The metal disks that hold the perch are a little small, but they do seem to hold firm.

I love the design but the feel of the perch is too rough ??sharp for my birds feet. I do not want to risk chafing his feet. So I cannot recommend this product I have others that are more concrete like--- rough but smoothe at the same time. Not sure what animal would have rough enough feet to use this.

This perch is as advertised. Perfect size for Nako my African grey. The material appears to be good quality. Course grinding material for the beak in the nails Nako isnt doing much with it yet, she will in her sweet timeni guess. Took her over a year to even try out a swing I made her, LOL Definitely is a good value.

I have 13 birds who reside in two different cages with this perch one of many connecting the cages. For bird owners, beak trims, wing clippings, and nail trims are all a part of a bird lifestyle, but sometimes it gets a little much. Now my birds can go longer without their nails having to be trimmed because this perch helps file them down. My cockatiels, Conure, Quakers, and even my small budgie loves this. Plus it’s so easy to clean! I use my scrub daddy and a little hot water and vinegar and bird crud comes right off!

Item is well packaged - completely wrapped in plastic so you know that it hasnt been exposed to other birds to avoid possible spread of germs. The birds love the perch and I like the fact that its a half circle and doesnt stick straight out. Easily supports my small budgies up to my cockatoo.

My parrots love this and I have it in each of their cages. Easy to clean and easy for install.
