I love the design but the feel of the perch is too rough ??sharp for my birds feet. I do not want to risk chafing his feet. So I cannot recommend this product I have others that are more concrete like--- rough but smoothe at the same time. Not sure what animal would have rough enough feet to use this.

My parrots love this and I have it in each of their cages. Easy to clean and easy for install.

This is perfect for large birds like our macaw. The quality is extremely durable and long lasting! The inside is wood and the outside is like a bumpy cement texture. I have one that’s lasted us 15 years! I have a hard time finding our parrot perches that file his claws/talons/nails however you want to refer to it. This is so affordable! I will definitely purchase another one!

It was time to retire a lava perch which quit being abrasive enough for my bird to do her toenails and beak. This perch has some nice sandpaper grit to it and was uniquely U-Shaped, so I thought Id give it a try. Its good! I have a large Cal Cage and the washers were just barely big enough to keep the perch in place. <see photo> The packaging was wrapped pretty well, to keep the sand from rubbing off in transit.

This perch is a great size and looks good in the cage. I like the curve but the only downside for my bird personally is that he is afraid of it lol I dont know if its because its blue or because its new but anytime I try to put him on the perch he flies away from it Im sure its something that will just take some getting used to.

After about a week of side eyeing in it he finally approached and now it’s his favorite perch. My conure takes a bit to adjust to new toys and things in his cage

My African Grey Pebbles loves this perch. She sits on it and looks outside at the pool area. Nice & strong

This arrived in an envelope but was wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap. I was concerned when I opened it. Its perfectly fine. It looks really good. It was easy to install. My Arican Grey is afraid of it. Shes a big baby and she should warm up to it soon. I have another rough perch in storage that she wouldnt use at all. Its a straight 6-inch perch. Again, nothing wrong with the perch, just the bird.

Spencer, our Senegal parrot, loves this new perch. It is a good quality, attaches firmly and handles his weight well. It was a little annoying to get it out of the shrinkwrap (think sausage casing), but not enough to take off a star. A solid perch for your favorite little avian friend.
