This is the best brush for shedding cats period!

I used one of these FURminator’s at a friends house on my dog and it worked great so I ordered one, but I missed that one I ordered was for a cat a big cat I needed one for a small Chihuahua so I had to return this one and order one for a small Chihuahua but I do know that they work very well.

This really works! After brushing my cat it looks like I have another entire cat with all the hair that comes off! He wasnt a fan of it at first, but has gotten used to it and will sit and tolerate me brushing him once a week. Would definitely recommend for anyone with indoor cats.

cats relax while brushing, apart from that their fur is brighter. I would like them to improve and remove the warning that comes in the box. But it actually works.

Ive tried a lot of brushes...and this is the first one that actually makes a difference and gets a lot of hair....it doesnt just get the loose hairs on top...it gets the hair underneath that is going to shed

Wow. It works. Like it really really works. I have two cats who I brush every other day and what I normally remove in 10-15 minutes came off in less than 5. My cats actually purr when I brush them and they don’t run away as quickly as they did before. Before, any time I pet them after brushing there was always more hair that fell off and this is probably the first time in 2.5 years that I can pet them without getting a bunch of fur on my hands. I debated whether I should buy this furminator or not because I already have two other brushes, one for the undercoat and one for just general brushing, and I wondered how different it could be, but I figured I’d try bc I was seriously at my wits end with the amount of shedding. It is sooooo worth it. The handle is soft and not tiring to hold. The click feature is kinda pointless but don’t let that stop you because this thing removes a tonnnn of fur.

I have three cats in a small apartment. I’ve been losing the battle against cat hair. Bought this wonder product and turned the tide in my favor! I can’t believe how much loose fur I get off the kitties! It’s amazing! Worth twice the price!

Cats will stay pretty still while I use. It gets hair but wish it went a little deeper. If your careful you can pop hair out with no trouble but dont be in a rush.

I was skeptical, but warmer weather had my poor pet shedding so bad. I was willing to try it. Mind you we regularly brush. The typical brush can’t do what this does at all. It’s a pet owner need for sure. Thank us later.

The Furminator certainly gets a lot of undercoat off your cat, but it doesnt necessarily do any better than a lot of other (cheaper) combs. Also, when you use it, there ends up being a lot of loose hair that remains on the top of your cat and not in the brush. You have to make the extra effort to gather these free floating hairs, otherwise the second your cat walks away, these fall off and end up in your house, completely defeating the purpose (i.e. the brush makes it even easier for your cat to shed).
