Gambit 17 Day Pack, Large, Black

Amazing for the frequent traveler. This is by far the BEST travel backpack for business. It has plenty of storage for all your gadgets, supplies, and paperwork. I have had it a year, and still looks great.

Overall this bag is much better than my current backpack. However, Im a little let down regarding the laptop compartment. Which is the main reason I bought this pack. I carry it daily with mainly just my laptop only in it and want to ensure its protected. In the description as well as the product tag attached when it arrived states that the laptop compartment is fleece-lined. Mine, most certainly, is not. I double checked the diagram. There is a smaller pocket inside the laptop (LT) compartment with a strap that looks to be where I would place my LT. I have a 15 rMBP, and its not even close to fitting in the pocket. It does fit just fine in the actual compartment, but is then flush with the bottom of the pack. So setting the pack down loaded is going to take some care. The pocket would keep it off the bottom of the pack, and help protect it.

It has everything that I was looking for in a backpack. The padding is great for carrying for long periods of time.

I use this when riding motorcycles. Holds my laptop and all associated gear with room to spare. Great for school or day trips. Shoulder straps keep the weight feeling light.

Like the durability, use it for work

Absolutely love this bag. I couldnt believe I let my self spend so much on a back pack for work... Intill I got it. The zippers alone explain the quality.

Just got this bag after searching for a TSA compliant bag on Amazon. Despite showing up on that search, this bag is NOT TSA COMPLIANT. You will still have to pull your computer out at TSA checkpoints. The bag itself looks well made, and has plenty of space and pockets for a mobile office. I really need the TSA clamshell, so I am returning this. If you dont need that, or dont care, this seems like it would be a good backpack for a larger laptop and lots of gear.
