Yeah Im a total geek about this kind of thing, but I love having this. There are groves in the bottom of the cup and you can rest a couple brushes across the grooves in the top and plenty in it (if you do that). In the end its just a plastic cup. Only improvement that I would use is if it had vertical rubber notches to hold brushes so they can sit without resting on the bristles.

This water pot is designed for the artist in mind. Sure, you can use a plastic cup, but this pot is designed well. Notches around the rim prevent my brush from moving around needlessly. The broad bottom tapered to a narrower top prevents it from being tipped over. Ridges on the bottom of the pot help to agitate the brush to wash away paint easier. Its a simple design, and Citadel has perfected it in my opinion.

Im new to miniature painting and I never expected to buy this, just use a cup or jar right? Then I saw a review of this online. Pros + The edges on the side are very nice for helping clean your brushes out + The flaps, or whatever you want to call them on the bottom are extremely handy for deep cleaning your brush + The groves to help shape your tip are nice, dont use them often, however + Shape makes it harder to tip over Cons - Price (after shipping by the current seller) - Hard to clean

Previously I was using any cup I found lying around and after seeing some other reviews, I picked this up. Genuinely a well made product. Tapered bottom means bumps cause a splash, rather than a spill. Ridges in the bottom make cleaning brushes easier. Good stuff.

Well Worthwhile investment, This thing has made cleaning brushes easier. No more having to buy cheap solo cups for painting that spill easily and has places to help clean the brush built in the side.
