Greater than one weekI didnt think this would make a big difference but decided to try it. The ridges on the bottom make it easier to get the black and red paint off my brushes. I had to wash my brushes multiple times before they would start to look clean but now its a single or double wash and dry and they look like new (minus the paint on the handle).

> 3 dayIm new to painting, but this has definitely helped a ton! the ridges are helpful to quickly clean my brushes and the grooves are there to help get that point again. Im strictly against the old school method of using my mouth to wet and form the tip of my brush! Im not going to be a paint eater... gross!

14-04-2025Previously I was using any cup I found lying around and after seeing some other reviews, I picked this up. Genuinely a well made product. Tapered bottom means bumps cause a splash, rather than a spill. Ridges in the bottom make cleaning brushes easier. Good stuff.

> 3 dayThis thing is great. You might be thinking Why should I bother paying $10 for something I can use an old mug for? It has a lot of really useful features. The ridges on the side and the bottom are terrific for keeping brushes clean, much better than just a strong swirl used to get me. The grooves on the side re-sharpen your brush. Its not magic: if you have an old crappy brush, its not going to suddenly spring back to new, but a quick swipe keeps a brush with a fine point from spreading out over a painting session. Lastly, the wide base keeps it from falling over easily. No one wants mixed paint stains all over their table.

Greater than one weekAlways thought this was a gimmick product, but its actually pretty good. Having a washboard surface on the bottom and side of the cup really helps cleaning brushes. It also has tip formers on the back that are pretty useful. I really bought this on a whim, and have to say its far more worth it than I had expected.

> 3 dayIt does what its supposed to. Its a fancy labeled brush pot. The ridges and bumps in it help to clean the brushes out pretty well, especially with technical paints though. Mostly bought it because I was tired of accidentally drinking paint water.

> 3 dayIve always used a cast off glass jar for holding paint water, but was curios enough to give this a try. The ridges and brush guides really do help. Its worth the price just for the brush shapers.
