I do quite a bit of traveling with my Mac Pro since its my primary computer. I was always putting it on the back seat with a towel under it to protect it because I didnt know they made a computer case. I bought this after reading the reviews and Im so impressed with the quality of the case and how much protection it offers my computer. The case is very sturdy, the zippers are smooth when they open and close, the foam is high quality and I no longer worry about my computer cracking or getting damaged when I travel.

I have a 2017 iMac Pro (which are much heavier than the regular iMacs) and this think handles it like a PRO! It comes with a rain cover, and the organization on the inside pockets is so seamless, sleek and nice. It can hold a lot of extra stuff. I usually carry around 3-4 hard drives, an over ear headphone set and a small interface and this thing holds it all like it’s nothing. I would not recommend using the computer while it’s inside the case. It caused my computer to get quite hot as it was trapping all of the air. And listening to music through the speakers doesn’t quite work with the case either. Overall this case is a solid 10/10. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Worth the money

I think it is expensive for what it is. But I needed a bag to safely move my iMac for a cross country relocation and for the purpose it performed it’s job perfectly. The organization for keyboard and accessories was very useful and everything made it to my final destination totally intact. It would be a lot more useful if I was a product photographer that shot tethered to my computer or something along those lines. As a 1 off item for a move it was probably over kill but I’m not upset I bought it. In the end it’s much cheaper than buying a new computer.

I bought this bag because I sometimes have to take my 27 iMac to site. Its made well, the computer fits perfectly, and it has compartments for all accessories. The weight is still a lot to put on your shoulder though for any length of time even with the padded strap.

I love Gator cases and use them religiously for all of my gear; mostly guitars/basses/keyboards. I got this case to move my 10+ year old iMac across the country. This case fit everything and more (keyboard, mouse, cables, external hard drives, etc) and protected it all for the duration of my 2,000 mile journey. Can’t recommend Gator enough - you get what you pay for with them!!

I bought this Gator case for my iMac because I live in a tiny home and do not have the room to always leave my computer workstation up. This case allows me to keep all of the components of the computer together and it keeps them very protected. Its a bit more pricey than some of the other cases out there, but hey, its a Gator. Im a musician, and I have been using their cases for a long time.

Let me just state right off the bat that I will be keeping this case (tote, as they call it), but mainly because there are few other options. This case looks incredible, has all the right pockets in all the right places, is constructed well, and fits the 27 iMac very nicely for transportation. That said, my issue is with the hood portion. Inside of the front flap material is only a thin piece of foam (likely) and it should be a solid and sturdy piece of plastic so it can span the distance without hanging down into the viewers line-of-sight. In order to remedy this, I have to put something on top of the display to help hold it up, otherwise Ill just use the computer outside of the case—defeating half the purpose of the overall design in the first place. This portion is the smooth grey part that has the logo on it; its the flap on the front when zipped-up. All that needs to happen is a more rigid material sewn inside of it in that one section. After several emails with a very nice customer service rep, it became very apparent to me that the design team could care less about the issue. I wasnt even asking for a new bag, I just wanted acknowledgment of how this design was an oversight and theyll fix it on a Version 2. No such luck. Again, this case really does check all the boxes in all the right places (except one), and it will look super PRO to arrive carrying my iMac in such a case. But the one design flaw is big enough to drop my rating to a 3, and sadly I will not be able to work with my computer in the case, as that hood will be very bothersome. Itll be a carrying case and nothing more.

Its perfect and beyond for what i need it for. We have a dance show we are doing some mini tours. I do lights and sound. All the lights and audo is on a 27 inch imac. So now im safly able to bring the computer. But more then that. I can store a power strip dmx box pre wireless mic and when i arive it is so easy to just set it on a desk, open, pull out cables, the keyboard and mouse all ready pluged in. So amazing.

Overall great quality. Makes my 27” MAC easier to pack and take everywhere I may need to. Has small pockets for your computer accessories. Make sure you order the correct size for your Mac. This is an expensive bag but worth it especially if you have to take your desk top everywhere.
