This outlet is 1” thick. It’s a much more compact design than many of this type which is exactly what I needed for behind our couch. Set up was the easiest of any of my smart products. Download “geeni” app, enter email address, input code mailed to your email address, pairs automatically after you enter your Wi-Fi Password. There is a soft, audible “click” as you turn off and on each plug source. Each are operated independently and you can easily name each of the 4 outlets. Connects to just your phone app, or you can use with Alexa, Google assistant, or Microsoft Cortana. No hub required, works with cell phone only if you don’t want to use a hub.

These Geeni products work great, and super easy set up.

Works well, integrated easily with Alexa. Took off one star because of the large irritating blue light in the center of the unit which serves no purpose! There is a small blue light at the top of the unit which indicates the power is on. China factory needs to make a small change to have that center light go off after pairing is completed.

I have several Geenie products now and love them. App is easy to use for setup and routines. This plug allows multiple things to be plugged in with different routines and no bulky smart plug that eliminates an outlet

This product loses connection A LOT, which in turn- turns off my Alexa bc it’s plugged in. Even though it is plugged into the wall- the Geeni plug still won’t provide power to devices when it is “offline” too late to return. I find that the single Geeni plugs are so much better! However this 4 way plug isn’t good at all.

Yes! A smart outlet that integrates with SmartLife and therefore integrates with Google Home. I was frustrated not finding Gosund anymore. It appears Geeni is filling that gap. Each plug is recognized individually for better control. I use mine for lights and a fan for remote and time control.

This brand was fantastic, but its reliability is really bad, and their warranty department is worse. In less than a year 2 of the 5 Geeni products just stopped working, and when submitting the claim, the company has chosen to ignore them, cant get them to honor it. So 40% failure rate, no other segment of products has that dismal rate. No matter how easy to install and to manage (which I love), but if it doesnt work all this is pointless.

Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program I really like this device. It works exactly as advertised. It gives you 4 outlets in place of two. Each of the four outlets can be individually controlled from an app or by voice command from Alexa, Google, or Cortana. Setup is a breeze (especially if you already have other smart devices connected with the Smartlife app). The unit is a glossy white plastic. It is rated for a maximum of 15 Amps or 1875 Watts. It requires a 2.4 GHz wi-fi network for its smart features to work. There is an LED that illuminate for each individual outlet that is active plus a central light that doubles as the setup button and a 6th LED that is always on when the device has power. The LEDs are moderately bright and might be annoying in a bedroom at night. The instructions say to download the Geeni app and to setup the device with that app. I did not have to use the Geeni app as I already had the Smartlife app on my phone and was able to use the Smartlife app to connect to and control the outlet and also to integrate it with Alexa for voice control. Connecting the Geeni outlet extender to the Smartlife app only took about 15 seconds. From that point, going to the Alexa app immediately showed 4 new plug devices that could be controlled. After having had difficulty with a few other Smart switches, it was a pleasant surprise to find a smart device that works exactly as it should. I wholeheartedly recommend this smart outlet.
