The product arrived in just a few days in a unmarked non retail box and inside was a small clear bag with the remote inside. There were no instructions in the box which is why i am holding back on 5 stars, but I was easily able to locate some on youtube. Hold the big square button on your garage door opener for a like 5-10 seconds and then press the button on the remote. wait 2-3 seconds and then press the button on the remote again and you should be in business. Thats how easy it was to program. Both remotes worked. Very happy with my purchase

We had been sharing a single Genie garage door opener between my wife and I. I should have gotten this sooner. It doesnt impact the programming of the other remote. Instructions are okay. I ended up watching a YouTube video (seriously 30 seconds long) on how to sync with the garage door opener. Easy-peezy.

I purchased this as an alternative to carrying around my door opener for a car that is parked outside. The remote is easy to program as I had no issues with setup but I recommend consulting your garage door openers instructions on programming as it may differ from what the instruction for the remote say. This programmed easily with my Genie Intellicode garage door opener but keep in mind that it may not work for all types of garage door openers. You should check the compatibility of the remote from the Genie website before purchase.The remote is a little thicker than I would like, as you would think they could have made this a bit thinner. And like others have said, the range is a bit limited as compared to regular remotes. Those two things bring the rating down to a 4 star instead of five. I paid 16 here direct from Amazon which is a good deal in comparison with the box stores that sell this at 38 bucks or more.

Worked as advertised. It synched with my garage door opener without any problems. Definitely worth the money. It’s always a good idea to have a back up remote just in case.

WHAT CAN I SAY. ITS IDENTICAL TO THE ORIGINAL & IT WORKS. JUST BE PREPARED TO GO THRU THE STEPS TO PROGRAM IT.

The product worked perfectly with my Genie garage door. The only thing Im bummed about is that it doesnt come with a wall mount bracket or anything. I drilled a hole through the back and mounted this to the wall, but I wouldve liked something more official. Good product regardless!

It works (syncs and opens door), has good range in, and its small enough. Why 3 stars? Its a clicker, and it should click! The buttons dont provide enough tactile feedback. For me thats a big deal - I mostly use it while on my bike, and put it in my thin wind-breaker jackets chest-pocket... I can never make it work through the jacket, all the buttons feel the same and I cannot seem to be sure if I pressed it or not. I now use the old clicker - twice as big, but I always know if it clicks even when inside my jacket.
