Genius Baby Toys Black, White & Red Activity 3D Playmat & Gym

Very pleased with this playmat. Appreciate that it has high contrast colors and no built in pillows. My grandson loves it.

This play gym is awesome. Not only is it red, black, and white for baby to see, but the toys are interactive. It starts on one end with a teether, a caterpillar that squeaks, a flower that has a soft mirror, a panda that has a music box that sings Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and a ball that has a bell in it. All of these toys are removable too. So baby can play with them in other places. The mat is approximately 30 wide, but its plenty of room for baby. I am very pleased with this product.

Can slide so arching bar is to either side of gym. Great for baby to practice tummy time and side laying! Black and whites/high contrast most stimulating for infants. I flipped matt over to plain red side. Babies before 3 months old can get over stimulated easily. Like that its very portable.

This is very soft, cushy, vibrantly colored play-mat. The arches can be tied onto the mat, so you can move it easily in one piece and also to make them stable, and also allow you to clean the mat. The rings separate, so you can move the toys around, or let the little one play with them in their hands. I would purchase again.

Our infant has a cataract, so visual development is really important to us. He is 12 weeks old and LOVES this mat. Since he was about 8 weeks old, he has enjoyed spending LOTS of time on this mat. Im not kidding, he will spend 30 min chunks under this mat just squealing away. I didnt even know it was possible for a child this young to be independently occupied that long. This is awesome.

I bought this playmat months ago but only decided to use it as a playmat 2 days ago. I had it attached to the inside of my babys playpen. She was fascinated by the characters and would quietly stare at it whenever I put her to lie in the playpen. It is 100% cotton, which was excellent since my baby has severe eczema and can only have contact with 100% cotton fabrics. I had to be spreading cotton fabric over everything she sits or lies on which defeats the purpose of having playmats I decided to wash this playmat so she could do her tummy time on it while looking at the pictures on the mat. BIG MISTAKE! It bleeds! Now all the white areas are pink! There is no more stark contrast in colour. Unless you plan to mount this mat vertically or you don t wash it for you baby to lie on I would not recommended you buy it. FOLLOW UP: I tried to return this item to Genius Babies but I was too late in trying to use it for them to take it back. I received the following from one of their Customer Service Representatives: ... We have had multiple testing of this product and in cold water, have never found it to run or bleed - only in warm and hot. As a mom myself I have used mine for both babies, with innumerous washings. Kindest Regards, Sarah Customer Care Just in case anyone else out there, like Sarah, may think I am lying about this I have taken several photos for prospective customers to see. If it didnt run, I really would not have wasted my time writing this review. Clearly Sarah must have received a different stock than I did as she has used hers for two babies thus suggesting she has had her for at least two years. Could it be possible that between manufacturing the one she bought and mine they changed the die or something??? Her response also reveals that even in the face of a complaint that a product is defective and defeats the whole purpose of the product, the Genius Baby Company is is not the least bit perturbed ... it must be the customer who is lying, blind or mischievous.

Love this! Colors are great and my grandson loves the colors!
