> 3 dayLikes - came as a two pack; easy to install, instructions were clear Dislikes - The provided bolts are longer than what I would have selected for mounting to the trailer. Note the bolts are metric thread. I was going to change them out for standards of a shorter size (as my local Lowes does not have a great inventory if any metric). Luckily, I brought a couple of the carriage bolts with me and figured out that on the closest standard thread, the square part of the carriage bolt on the metric bolt is smaller, so standard bolt would not work in the pre-drilled carriage bolt holes on the spring tubes. I stuck with the metric bolts but did change out the longer bolts on the gate end since they were not carriage bolt application. Also, my trailer has a dove tail and the side rails follow that drop so I ended up using spacers to support end closest to gate. No biggie and I knew this going into the purchase. Also, I added some chain link connectors to the trailer and positioned the gate locations a bit higher to allow for some adjustment if the spring wears. There are actually two springs in each tube, and I opted to use both versus trial and error of testing one then another. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

> 3 dayI was having a really hard time lifting my gate. Now I can lift it with one finger. My wife can even lift it. Perfect for a senior citizen like me.

> 3 dayPros; Total back saver. Cons; No color choice, should offer black, would be nice.

> 3 dayThe parts are top quality and the fit and finish are great! I found that I had to make some modifications to my trailer before installation that werent expected and that I only needed one lift. Installing two wasnt necessary but it wasnt covered in the instructions. I realize that they cant cover every situation but placement on the rail is critical and MUST be followed. Now that it is all installed and modified, it works like a charm! One finger moves the ramp up or down and it is literally effortless. Great product!

15-04-2025I unfortunately installed it more than the specified 18. My fault. Had it welded at 18 and wouldnt keep the trailer if I had to keep manually lifting the tailgate. Im a 78 year old woman and this add on is a miracle for me.

> 3 dayWorth every penny. After hours of yard work trailer gate gets heavy. With this lift I can easily flip up the gate with my foot. Should have added a long time ago. You will need a good Drill and Drill Bits. .500” holes take some work. 10 total holes.

> 3 dayFairly easy to install. Springs were much stronger than I thought they would be. I was worried our ramp would be a little to heavy, but it was plenty. We even had to tone it down to just 1 spring, because it was actually too much tension.

> 3 dayI have a 16’ trailer for my UTV. The gate was over 150 lbs. After my back surgery last year I could not lift or let it down alone. Now I can lift or lower the gate with literally 2 fingers. I show it to anyone who has a trailer.. this is a great product. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars on ease of installation is that the design of my trailer rails required me to weld the rearmost part of the lift to the rail because the rail design made it impossible to access the rear bolt hole. Any trailer I have from now on till get a gorilla lift.
