> 3 dayWe had a bathroom renovation two years ago and the new toilet had a canister flush valve. I heard the sign of a flapper valve leak, spontaneously refilling, and discovered the canister in its place. I watched a clip on YouTube that explained simple maintenance of the canister. I ordered this part and when it arrived it took just a few minutes to replace the o-ring. When I turned the water on, the spontaneous leak was gone.

> 3 dayTook a chance and tried to go cheap - bought a two-pack of aftermarket (non-Kohler) seals that sold for the same price as one Kohler. Wasted my time and money. Both leaked from the start. After taking a wire brush to all contact surfaces to ensure old seal left no remnants. Flipped each to see if I could seal - no dice. Kohler seal came a few days after order. Not a drop leaks anymore. Dont waste time and try to skimp. Go straight to Kohler. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

> 3 dayWe have relatively new Kohler toilets, and none of them work very well. The biggest problem of all, however, has been these O-rings wearing out. Each toilet has one, and so we keep a few of these replacements on hand. Watch a YouTube video or two to see how to remove the old, worn-out O-ring and install this new one. Be patient, and be careful to not force any of the parts when taking them apart, because they all are made of cheap plastic. Remember the old days when Kohler built everything with iron and steel parts?

Greater than one weekThis was a perfect replacement. Don’t gamble and buy one of the off-brand replacements. Save your time and money and buy OEM.

Greater than one weekOverhauled my toilet due to hissing during refill. Since I was replacing my fill valve figured the canister could use a new seal too. Replacing the seal took about 5 minutes after watching the Kohlers video. Hardest part for me was disconnecting the chain which wasnt cooperating lol. I cleaned the old seal residue from the canister and where it seats to and installed the new seal, now its good as new.

> 3 dayThis is a Kohler replacement part. It is very good quality and expect it to last years under my water conditions. It takes about 5 minutes to replace - the canister must be removed so that the seal can be easily accessed. Use care when removing the upper yellow or black plastic disk where the water line attaches. I cracked it on another toilet.

> 3 dayTook 5 minutes from opening the packaging to being done. Videos on the listing are helpful to see how to remove the centerpiece. Otherwise, it is straightforward and simple to install this perfectly fitting gasket. Oh wait, cannister seal :) I had one leaky toilet so I just replaced both. Like headlights, when one goes out, the other is soon to follow. Same with teenagers.

> 3 dayMy toilet was draining and refilling constantly and I determined it was due to the canister seal. I considered getting a cheaper generic one but read mixed reviews, so I went with the name brand. I cant speak to the durability of this item but it was easy to install and the toilet issue has been resolved!
