My son is 23 month old, about 26 lbs. We are leaving for a trip soon and I wanted a portable potty since we are potty trained for #2 incidents. Sadly, during our FIRST home trial to get my son used to this portable potty, it snapped into two and my son almost fell into the toilet! To be fair, my son was twisting around to see the owls eyes and hence his weight was shifted to one side but I feel like this is still too fragile. Given the stellar reviews of this product, I am willing to order another and give it a try. Hopefully I got a defective model and others are more resilient. I will update if I see improved results. Update: I ordered a second seat soon after the first one broke (I assume this one did not have new, improved strengthened joints since it was back in 3/2018 ). I have been using the second seat for at least a year and I am happy to report there have been zero issues. I have even taken it on trips, tightly packed in check-in luggage, with no problems. I assume the first seat was defective. The seller also reached out to me to make sure everything was okay. I am updated my review to reflect the great customer service and the quality/sturdiness of the second seat.

If youre not using a liner, maybe itll stay put on an average-sized toilet, but when using a liner, it wont stay, its not big enough. It moved around when me daughter was trying to use the public restroom for the first time and scared her. Now she hates it, and Im returning it.

We got this for our 3 year old for our cruise vacation. We used it on Allure of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. It worked well and let my kid relax without worrying about falling in. He was able to take it out, fold it up and down, and put it away when he was done. Great for saving space which makes it great for traveling!

This is so helpful when out. My daughter had a hard time using public bathrooms that I had to hold her up on since they were too big (she’s 2.5years old). She was able to use one in a restaurant for the first time using this foldable seat! She will even remind me sometimes now to bring her “owl potty” when getting ready to go out. Folds compact and bag is very convenient.

Really nice seat cover! Seems to be pretty stable and no pinching of little fingers so far. I do wish it had a few suction cups to make it more stable on the toilet.

I bought this for our trip to Disneyland and it did not disappoint! It not only covers the toilet well enough where your toddlers hands will not touch the actual toilet but it folds up small and compact! This is a game-changer product and I got so many compliments in the bathroom asking me where I got this from! The only con: the carrying case is black and for some odd reason it blends in so well with the storage on the bottom of my storage making it pretty difficult to find and grab. Id love an option for a different storage bag making it easier to find.

Moves a little, but overall is a good product. Keeps granddaughter from falling in and she is comfortable sitting on the potty.

Easy to fold and store in included plastic pouch which fits in smaller diaper bag. Top is easily cleaned but harder to clean underside which is necessary with little boys especially. Two fold down tabs work well to hold it in place on toilet seat. Minimal “slippage” on most adult seats. Be aware that this is more of a thin, hard plastic seat with no cushioning at all. Would buy again for use when traveling but not for everyday use.

My daughter is almost 4 and one of our major hiccups in finishing potty training has been public restrooms. She would SCREAM and refuse to use the toilets, so we would have to decide to never leave the house or keep her in a pull-up. Then I stumbled upon this gem. I honestly had low hopes of it helping, but from the first time I asked her to use it (after showing it to her before we left the house), our problem has DISAPPEARED. She literally shouts to anyone in passing now that she’s a big kid for going on the potty. BONUS: it folds pretty small, feels very sturdy, and is easy to wipe clean. Don’t hesitate if your child has public bathroom anxiety. This thing lives up to all the good reviews.
