> 3 dayI purchased one for my washer and one for my dryer. They absorb about 80% of the vibration. In the past I could feel the floor shaking far away from the device. Now, I either feel only subtle vibrations or none at all. Five stars!

> 3 dayThis is the perfect product if you have a coffee maker or other countertop appliance that vibrates a lot. Our coffee maker vibrates into the counter so much that the toaster rattles (probably because we have cheap countertops). Now it doesn’t rattle at all, even when sitting right next to the coffee maker.

> 3 dayThis product is strong, but not large enough for under the machine.

> 3 dayThe product was a little thinner than expected but worked fine with the assistance of 2 cinder blocks.

> 3 dayI put this under a washing machine that is in a closet and generated a lot of noise. It was a significant improvement. I would guesstimate at least a 10db reduction in noise. Highly recommend this mat!

Greater than one weekA chlorine monitor system our water system required ended up being installed at my house for lack of anywhere else that worked. It is attached to a wall in a basement mechanical room. The sound it makes is like a cell phone on vibrate sitting on a countertop. Every 30 seconds. Because it is attached to the wall, it sort of telegraphed through the whole house. The wall transmitted the vibration and noise all the way through the house. It was unbelievably annoying. I installed a piece of this between the wall and the noisy device and it practically eliminated the noise outside of the mechanical room. I can hear it through the wall if Im in the hall on the other side of the wall. But I no longer hear it anywhere else in the house. If you have noisy medical equipment, pumps, or similar noise-makers in the house, this really is a good solution.

> 3 dayI’m glad that others have found this useful for other applications, but it did nothing to cancel the noise from my husband’s oxygen concentrator. I’ve given it 3 stars because it fits the description given for it and is a very sturdy pad, but I couldn’t give it more since for our need, it was a big ol’ failure. I will keep it anyway - maybe it will come in handy for some other use down the road. Oh, and as others have said, it smells like a tire, but only if you’re right up close.

Greater than one weekMy washer still vibrated and moved. The mat was too small. I ended up returning it.
